Vanilla sugar cookies with almond royal icing and demerara sugar "sand." Part of the order for the Four Seasons I am working on this week.
This would make a gorgeous beach wedding favor!
The best days in 3rd grade were the days Mom had warm cookies and cold milk waiting for me when I got home from school. I'd walk the 3 blocks from Short Hills Grade school on Hobart Avenue to 30 Haddonfield Road. Home Sweet Home, especially when there were cookies and Mom waiting for me with a big hug and a kiss.
I made these for Ronnie and her children. With all the fires in Cali, they're gonna need some warm cookies and milk when they get home.
Chocolate cookies with chunks of white and dark chocolate, then coated on one side with milk chocolate.
Very chocolatey!
(I was trying to focus on the front edges of the cookies, to show the different 'constituent parts' - I like the way this has made the top of the pile unfocused at the back)
I was so pleased to have received this order. The Cookie Monster was such fun to do!
This is a moist 6" chocolate cake filled with blue vanilla buttercream icing and covered in blue 'shaggy' icing, finished off with his classic googly eyes and of course a cookie!

At 5pm I received the request for homemade cookies for an holiday event tomorrow. The name of the family member will remain unamed to protect his reputation...
Cookies created for a recent customer. they were for a wedding shower. Lots of fun but sooo much time!
The cookies (poly clay) and tray (silver painted cardboard) are done so Gracie is ready for work tomorrow. Nope, I didn't do the mitts since I wanted her to be able to hold the tray...so this is after the cookies have cooled. ^_^
Freshly baked dark chocolate, pistachio and sea salt cookies - I think it's very wrong that most of the things I like to eat are so bad for me! 😊
Here is a link to the recipe

Today in the afternoon I wanted to do a simple cookie splash, but after some attempts, I decided to get the cookies involved in the story of the shot!! This final picture is the combination of two shots. Hope you like it!!
Obviously, inspired by Siebe's Cookie Splash
I will say it again: I love my new lens.. 100% recommended (it's like magic)
Thank you for your support and comments!
Linda was the champion of cookie bakers. I am fortunate that when Linda's health got to the point were she could no longer make cookies she told me her secrets and directed me through the process so I now can continue the cookie baking. But unfortunately my cookies will never be as good as Linda's.
*This is a Reverse Engineered MOC. The original design by PAUL LEE can be found here.
This brick built Cookie Monster by PAUL LEE looks so great! I just had to build it myself.
been wanting to try this forever....couldn't decide which one to post, so you get both.
sidenote...the cookies are from Trader Joe's European Collection with premium Belgian chocolate and they are amazing...especially with coffee and tea.
I normally don't do food shots, but I could not resist taking this shot before eating my afternoon tea today! Absolutely nothing was deliberately set up here. My dearest brought me these with my afternoon cup of coffee, and this was exactly how they were placed. She did not notice anything unusual on the plate. Just cookies!
For the record - chocolate chip (home-made) and gone in a flash! Delicious.
I baked this cookie christmas tree totally inspired by Karin. Hers is so much prettier!

The kids took it as a dare when they heard the grown-ups say "No one could ever climb a cookie mountain." So they climbed the mountain. Of course. :D 274/365
24/52 Babo lays low as Eduardo takes the heat for Robo's missing cookies. C'mon. We all know it was Babo.
Although Cookie is wary of everyone but me, he somehow liked my mother. I guess the fact that she was leaving him alone, not being super fond of dogs, made him wonder what the check was wrong with her, not trying to get his attention :P. He would sit at a safe distance and just watch her, quietly.
This picture dates from 2014. Our house in Normandy was full of sick and senior dogs since I was running a rescue sanctuary by myself (my hubby putting up with everything). My mom did not fully understand my devotion, but still came to visit several times a year, since I just couldn't travel anymore. I miss those times.
A cookie for the festive period and this weeks assignment for Macro Monday (Happy Bokeh)!
Best thing about the setup was the cookie after the shot ;)

These Christmas cookies are my very first stab at cookie cutter cookies -- don't know how I got to be this old without the experience! I decorated about 72 of various designs with fondant for friends, coworkers, family and, of course, my mailman. I really enjoyed working on the smaller canvas and, unfortunately, the cookies were very delicious, which made it oh-so easy to eat my mistakes. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and have had time to put your feet up for some well-deserved rest.
I had mint buttercream leftover from a cake and I didn't want to throw out yet another batch. So I made cookies!
