Shot near Central Park.These are the actual colors on the structure.I just enhanced them a little.I don't exactly know which street I took this shot,but between 59th and 79th streets there are many old mansions that once were owned by some of NYC elite from the 19th century.Some of them have been converted into embassies and museums.Most of the museums are strewn along 5th Avenue between 82nd and 104th streets in what is known as Museum Mile.

It can only prohibited not to smile at the problems, to to fight for what you want, for to leave everything for fear, to turn actually your dreams.
From this angle, taken down beside the Tamar River, one can see immediately the origins of this hotel. These grain silos stored wheat that was shipped out of Launceston during the time when its shipping industry still functioned. Today, of course, visitors to Launceston find it hard to imagine that this was once Tasmania's biggest industrial port. The Tamar is silting up (the subject for another discussion), King's Wharf is dilapidated, and this land was left as a flood prone swamp.
But local business interests, the Peppers Hotel chain, and clever architectural design, have not only revitalised the old structure, but turned this whole seaport precinct into a hive of activity.
This colour photo was converted for a recent post in my mono portrait series. I find that the Sony RX100M6 takes portraits equal to those shot with my 50mm portrait lens. This was a one-off shot taken at the end of our lunch.
We saw this great mill conversion at Reedham Ferry, what a great place to live!

Apologies for showing yet another squirrel picture but it's been raining all day, so the opportunities were rather limited.
Decided to show off my ingenuity of converting the bird stand into a squirrel stand. Also, I love that tree as a backdrop.

Photo shot with hand held lens reversed without attached to camera. Converted to lomo style with neoimaging.
Grandpa was always a little eccentric and when he purchased a run down city tram and converted it into a Weiner Wagon the whole family thought he had lost his marbles. Gramps is dead now and you are the lucky owner of his hot dog tram. To your surprise, it turns a profit and is a favorite with locals. Needless to say you are the envy of your cousins who inherited his toenail clipping museum.... not nearly as popular a location...

This cat hardly liked you touching him for more than a few seconds. He was a random street cat that one day decided to adopt us! so on occasion I would like him in to hang out, when he got board he would leave. One day he was hanging out in my room, so I picked up my camera and start shooting. Ended up converting to Black & White and cropping the image, giving the image the look and feel that suits this cat.
