The VR2 is a water vending machine controller that we custom built for Aqua Bena. Operation and setup are performed with an easy to use hand held programmer. The VR2's cost per unit is low because the same hand held programmer can be used on all VR2 controllers. The unit interfaces with all standard bill and coin collectors and produces a spreadsheet report for each location.

The controller was for the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The controller falls under the psychological constraints of conventions since the plus designed button allows movement on the screen while the red, start, and select buttons provide simple functions.

Today was just one of those days for me. I just felt uninspired. Did my usual work thing today, taught a class outside. The weather was fairly decent around lunch time. But by the end of the day I just wanted to get home and sleep. I didn't feel like going out and shooting photos anywhere. So I shot this pic of my PS3 contoller. I guess you can say it's a metaphor for what I wish I can do with life in general. Press X to make things happen. Press R2 to speed up the days so I can be with Avon that much sooner. Press start to pause time when Avon is with me. Move the sticks around to traverse the globe. I don't know, I'm just tired.. Seeing Avon on skype today made everything better for me..
