Here is a detail of the controller board I built for the balancing robot. The microprocessor is an Atmel ATmega8 running at 14.7456 MHz and the motor drivers are National LM18200s. (Incidentally, my initials are GND, which explains why I put a small ground symbol someplace on all the boards I design.)
The Sonos controller should come with a charging cradle.
I didn't want to pay 70$ for a piece of plastic so I built my own cradle.
The base is a wiece of wood and the sides were cut from a CD-R package.
Polarity is [ + - ] (front view)
