My good friend Smikas, gained his pilot's license in December 2011. Out for sunrises and treks with the camera mean't that most weekends when he pestered me to come flying, I was already out and about or busy with something else. Managed to get up there today and glad I did. Got a mix of aerial shots and details from on the ground. Good times.

Today's hot Nintendo news was that a Switch system update had stealthily allowed for the use of GameCube controllers (using the Wii U GameCube adaptors). As I have a third party adaptor, it took a bit of fiddling, but I finally got the controllers recognised. This makes it the fourth generation of Nintendo home console that I've used them with. Best value controllers ever (and still look and feel in great nick, despite their age)!
