Pointy switch. I would recommend using a shorter switch, as I had to cut of part of one of the terminals and bend it to make room for the HAT part of the PCB.

Amateur radio controllers adjusting the dish azimuth settings near Parkes, Australia.
This radio telescope played an extraordinary role in the four-day Apollo XI mission in July 1969 by capturing and televising the historical lunar landing to the world. This was dramatised in a film called "The Dish" using this control panel mockup.
Note the two header pins I soldered on in the upper middle section of the picture to make shorting the 3.3V to Erase easier. More at: techartblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/make-controller-applicat...

I just got this off eBay as Im in search of a decent SNES controller for my FC Twin console. This is a "Super Pad" SNES controller. While it works pretty good (the D-Pad is somewhat better than the FC Twin pack-in controller), the controller is extremely lightweight, and the plastic while sturdy also feels thin. The cord length is also about half as long as a real SNES controller, so an extension cord might come in handy. The text to the right of the controller on the box is ripped off from a real SNES controller box.
The S controller for the XBox is a more compact controller that became the standard XBox controller shortly after the console’s release, after Microsoft realized that most of its customers were not mutants with overgrown hands. It’s still big, as far as controllers go, but it’s no longer freaking huge. The controller features the now fairly standard arrangement of two analog sticks (With clickable buttons), a D-Pad that’s rarely used, shoulder buttons, and four primary buttons arranged in a diamond shape. “Start” and “Back” are on the left side, while “White” and “Black” (Despite the fact that “White” is actually clear) are on the right side. In the top of the controller, stolen from the Dreamcast, are slots for memory cards that no one ever used for anything.
