One of the main reasons for travelling to the US was to attend the professional education events associated with the Annual Meeting of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), held at the Colorado Convention Centre, downtown Denver.
This is a photograph of a small classroom course that I attended, taken with the iPhone camera native app Panorama feature. I have been quite impressed with this feature. It has its limitations in being restricted so a single row of images and not offering a facility to lock the exposure or focus, but within these bounds, it can do a reasonable job of the image stitching. For more complex geometries and/or lighting situations, I still resort to Autostitch.
