A series of portraits recently converted to BW and reprocessed in PS and the Nik Collection's 'Color Efex Pro 4' filters.
This is a series of candids taken during a portrait lighting class at George Brown College in Toronto. The assignment was to 'shoot candids in your spare time'. So I did ...of the models ...as they waited for the next student to start shooting. Originally shot in colour and processed in PS, these images were later converted to BW and reprocessed with the Nik Collection 'Color Efex Pro 4' filters. All were photographed at slow shutter speeds and high ISO due to the dim ambient light in the studio during the class.

This is one in a series of candids taken during a portrait lighting class I at George Brown College in Toronto. One assignment was to 'shoot candids in your spare time'. Credit Michael Paulsen who took this photograph of me and others attending a class at the Harris County Sheriff's Academy on Thursday. I really enjoyed the presentations and meeting some fine security professionals.

Math teacher Tony Asdourian illustrates the explanation to a logic puzzle he presented the first night of his continuing education class called Paradoxes and Contradictions. I'm taking the class along with my buddy Jeff and his best friend Tom. It's forcing us, and me in particular, to think in new ways!
I'm grateful for new ways of thinking. :)

If you're interested, here's the puzzle:
Peyton and Eli are standing at a fork in the road. You know that one of them always tells the truth and the other always lies, but you don't know which is which. You also know that one road leads to death and destruction, and the other leads to utopian freedom.
By asking one of them one yes/no question, can you determine the way to freedom?
