We were privileged to celebrate another group of graduates from our Adult and Continuing Education Center during commencement on Aug. 7, 2024. Congratulations to our newest alumni!
Continuing capturing an image of a person hiding their face in some way.
Having the whole image in black and white, highlighting a part of the image in colour to make it stand out.
Even though in the image there are two objects, the hat is what stands out most. I wanted to do this, as simply looking down you'd still be able to see some of the main structures of the face. Using the hat, hides the face better and creates a shadow effect and having the hat in it's colour gives a stronger effect to the image.
In the style of Martin Munkácsi where some of his images of people, you can't see their face, either by turning away or having their face covered with an object. Eg. his umbrella image.
THE WORK CONTINUES - Area football fields and gyms have been filled this week with athletes continuing to battle for positions on teams and preparing for their first games and matches. Jeff Mears tries to haul in a pass during the afternoon practice in Boyd.
This was actually the starting point; all of the companies under the umbrella of Chrysler. Soon, it spawned into EVERY car company and all of the companies under that company, eventually taking up two wall-sized whiteboards.
the writing on the wall says " Small shop business (warung) Bu Parmi. I'm a victim from the eruption of mount Merapi. I lost 6 family members on October 26th 2010"
this old lady continue living even though she has lost 6 family members during the eruption, and she built her shop right next to what used to be her house. When asked wether she is willing to move back to her old house, she currently live in a shelter, she said "there is no wehere else I know, for I've been living here my whole life".

Local theatre producers had a provocative message for the Colorado’s teaming talent pool at a specially called forum last week: “Get to class.”
Representatives from theatre companies large and small gathered at Cap City on Jan. 12 to light a fire under the creative community.
“We’re good,” said longtime BDT Stage Artistic Director Michael J. Duran. “But good is not good enough.”
