Actually I added more after this photo. I want to get more red and turquoise back into it.
That's what's so nice about acrylics, you can just add another layer if you lose something that you liked!
You are not alone.
You are not a solitary seed,

Continuing todays tag to #ig_ms_10 - Colorful Wednesday. Lets share the color, turquoise today. According to {examiner.com} turquoise is believed to calm the mind. In this busy technical age I think we could all use our share of calm. So overjoyed by all the support participation and interaction over our new transition to daily themes. Excited to see what you submit and as always have fun.

Took a break from landscapes and Snow mountains. This time in PERU. Streets, Colorful people, 3399meters altitude, less oxygen, llamas, cocoa tea..list continues. People come to Peru to see Machu Picchu. We are going there as well. But this time since I got bored with landscape, thought of spending some time clicking people and colors.
Day 1: Peru - Cusco - Still haven't got our luggage. Its stuck somewhere in Miami. We are roaming around wearing the same dress for the second day. Since llamas smell as bad as us, no one is noticing it. My innerwears are almost near to the Chernobyl radiation level. I hope we will get the luggage tomorrow. Very less people speak English here. We are managing with "Ola" and "Gracias". This is the third day am having sleep less nights. That plus mountain sickness is giving me high. These red colors are getting into my head. We went to Chinchero village in the evening and spend time with a weaving family. They were nice and polite. Cusco is dusty like LEH, but colorful like Morocco. Old streets, Inca ruins, lot of things pending here. Will update details soon.
Day 2. Went to Pisac market which is ~40kms from Cusco. Colorful market. Paradise for shopping.
Day 3: Machu Picchu, an Incan city of sparkling granite precariously perched between 2 towering Andean peaks, is thought by scholars to have been a sacred archaeological center for the nearby Incan capital of Cusco. Built at the peak of the Incan Empire in the mid-1400s, this mountain citadel was later abandoned by the Incas. The site remained unknown except to locals until 1911, when it was rediscovered by archaeologist Hiram Bingham. The site can only be reached by foot, train or helicopter; most visitors visit by train from nearby Cusco.
The cold snap continues.
Up at half six for a coffee before going hunting and gathering, and was treated to this stunning dawn, with the garden all crisp and even.
Jools's employer had given everyone working there a Sainsbury's gift card, and we had partly used before Christmas, so in order to use the remainder, instead of Tesco I drove to Deal instead.
It was clear at dawn, but a mist soon rose, giving the whole landscape a winter wonderland effect, with tyre tracks through the frost, even on the Deal Road. At least traffic was light.
Sainsbury's was almost empty. A contrast to before Christmas when it was like the eve before the zombie apocalypse, with empty shelves everywhere.
Much better this time, with all a much less frantic. With the card, and despite buying three bottles of porter, the bill came to eleven quid.
Turning onto The Strand, I stopped to take a shot of the pie and up and down the coast, as a weak sun tried to break through.
I drove back home carefully, making it back by half eight, so we enjoyed a lazy breakfast and a fresh brew.
For the morning, I made a pot of lentil dahl, so the house was soon filled with the fine smells of Middle East spices.
We don't have that for lunch, instead we have a pasty followed by the last of the Christmas Cake. So, the festive season is officially over!
That being said, I have mincemeat so will make mince pies at some point, or like last time, just save it for next Christmas.
It was day 3 of the FA Cup 3rd round weekend, with Norwich playing host to Brighton, and all was going well until they kicked off. Once Brighton scored, Norwich fell to pieces, and so lost 4-0, at least two coming from mistakes.
We finish of the last of the Christmas cheese for supper while we listened to Craig and I watched Citeh thrash Salford 8-0.
Outside, temperatures plunged again, and a thick hoar frost covered all surfaces.
Brrrr.

Continuing my stroll on 19 May 2018. This was the view south from Chesnut Grove to Chesnut Road, and the new Protheroe House.
My photo shows some good news: Haringey Council (or its contractors) have repaired the bollards
Why are they needed? The central section of Chesnut Road is gated, with cars and other vehicles excluded so people can walk, stroll, push buggies, cycle, dawdle, and hang-out. Without worrying very much about speeding cars, trucks and motorbikes.
Without this restriction the road would become just another through route between High Road Tottenham and Park View Road and Tottenham Hale station.
From time to time the gates and bollards are damaged.
Continuing my Christmas theme for this week, we see here another advertisement from the Enlarged Christmas Number Woman's Pictorial of 1st December 1928. I guess that must have been a very expensive gift that only the most well-off could afford back then. In the 1930s my grandfather bought my grandmother a "Hoover" upright cleaner; this had a light to gently illuminate the floor as it went about its duties. The cleaner never broke down and I guess it might still work if I plugged it in and tried it - yes, that's right, I still have it!
Please note: all comments which include any form of graphics or images will be removed. If you need to bring my attention to a particular photograph please use flickrmail!

The CFS exhibit hall continues to expand as new technologies are put on display. #NATCACFS2019 features many current modernization programs with a presence in the exhibit hall, and in most cases, the exhibits are staffed by our NATCA Article 114 Reps and their FAA program management counterparts. We strongly encourage all CFS attendees to take the time to walk through our exhibit hall and spend some time conversing with our Reps, program managers, and sponsors about some of the current and upcoming technologies that will impact everyone’s careers. www.natca.org/index.php/cfs-spon-exhib
(continued) SO, I chose a road number that never existed (and happens to fall right between the C636s and the Dash 7s) 5629, and named the engine "Primordial" in line with the tradition for the railroad to name their engines after ancient gods. I chose this name because it does not appear on the Pilbara region all-time roster, because the god Primordial is said to have come before anything else so in a way, this C636 rebuilt with a Pilbara cab but without GE Dash 7 specs could be said to be a sign of things to come... and also there's a band I like called Primordial.
My L Gauge model is equipped with two Power Functions L motors, clocks in at approximately 48 studs long, and will spend most of its time paired with my Cartier M636 hauling a long ore train around my display layout. Custom stickers purchased from OKBrickworks.
* Mill Race Junction
This location is the exit loop from what is shown in the timetable as 'Brightside UP/DN East Slow' starting just south-west of the old Brightside station and continuing on alongside the mainline tracks on the south side to the location of Grimesthorpe junction where the access into the old LDECR Goods station was located on the Sheffield District Railway over the LDECR had running power, the area was Coopers Scrapyard and is now EMR, European Metal Recyclers. I managed to get over in around 10 minutes, just a minute or so before the set was due to depart into Sheffield for another stop of 25 minutes before heading off south to Derby. The tracks shown here are the main lines out of Sheffield on the right and the Brightside loops and access to the EMR scrap yard on the left; the left-most line curving off due south to cross the river Don into the EWR yard. Time to move on once more for the final shot the set approaching Sheffield Midland through the site of what used to be Attercliffe Station, around half a mile north of the main station..
...continued from the last set i uploaded. This was a fun day taking photos of Gig wearing her black ballet slippers outdoors. Hopefully this summer we can do it again.
This is a photograph from the first running of the Clonard GAA 4 Mile Road Race, Fun Run and Walk which was held in the village of Clonard, Co. Meath, Ireland on Wednesday 2nd August 2017 at 19:30. This race was organised to faciliate the continued fund raising for the wonderful new GAA facilities at St. Finian's Park - the new home of Clonard GAA. The race itself was an outstanding success with over 400 participants including over 230 participants having chip timing. The new GAA facilities provided ample car parking and space for refreshments and mingling afterwards.
The four mile distance is something of a novelty these days on the road racing circuit and the large field shows that the distance holds an attraction for runners, joggers and walkers.
The race started and finished at the new GAA pitch and incredibly only 20 meters separated the start and finish line of the race. The route took the participants east bound on the R148 towards Enfield through the village of Clonard and onwards to take a right turn onto Keegan's boreen to cross the M4/M6. The route then took a right turn on the Clonard Edenderry road to return back to Clonard with another crossing of the M4/M6 motorway.
As this was the first running of the race the support from local athletes was very visible.
Credit must go to Clonard GAA and Clonard Community Council who provided excellent organisation on all aspects of the race including event management, parking and race stewarding with the Gardai. This race can be an example to every other club in Ireland in how a properly organised race can be run.
Race event management and registration was supplied by Kildare company POPUP Races www.popupraces.ie

If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.
Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!
Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets
Construction continues on the Powerhouse Science Center, including the steel structure for the planetarium dome. Last week one curved beam was signed (in white) by several people who have worked to bring this project to life!
---
Dreyfuss + Blackford Architecture’s design for the Powerhouse Science Center re-envisions a historic riverfront structure as a hub for science education, exploration and promotion in the City of Sacramento. On the banks of the Sacramento River, the Science Center grows out from an abandoned power station building. As a principal component of the Riverfront activation, the Powerhouse Science Center anchors Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park and borders the southern terminus of the 32-mile American River Bike Trail.
Vacant for over half a century, the structure undergoes a complete historic rehabilitation and the construction of a new floor level inside. A new two-story addition projects from the east side, containing a lobby, classrooms, offices and a cafe. A 110-seat planetarium is prominently on display with a zinc-clad hemispheric dome rising above the building’s mass. As representation of our place in the universe, the facade and building mass is sectioned by multiple planes, creating continuous vector lines that extend across the building and site. From satellites to world landmarks, the lines form connections with local and global points of interest.
The original PG&E Power Station B was designed in 1912 in the Beaux Arts Style by architect Willis Polk and was formally closed in 1954. It is on the National Register of Historic Places, California Register of Historic Places and the Sacramento Register of Historic & Cultural Resources. The Powerhouse Science Center is designed to achieve a USGBC LEED Rating of Silver.

Man in a 'Captain America' costume making a hand gesture whilst attending the Tea Party Patriots' 'Continuing Revolution' protest on Capitol Hill. Protesters in overwrought Americana-themed costumes appear to be the right-wing's answer to the left-wing's tradition of using giant papier-mâché puppets at protests. Both trends are pretty stupid and point to the continued infantilizing of American politics.

"Soapy's last words were "My God, don't shoot!"[37] A letter from Samuel Steele, the head of the Canadian Mounties at the time, indicates that another guard, Jesse Murphy, may have fired the fatal shot.[38] Soapy died on the spot with a bullet to the heart. He also received a bullet in his left leg and a severe wound on the left arm by the elbow. Reid died 12 days later with a bullet in his leg and groin area. The three gang members who robbed Stewart received jail sentences.
Soapy Smith was buried several yards outside the city cemetery. Due to the way Smith's legend has grown, every year on 8 July, wakes are held around the United States in Soapy's honor.[39] His grave and saloon are on most tour itineraries of Skagway."
I was carrying two cameras around my neck. This was the other, the 35mm. "He's a photographer", said the girl in the foreground, in a gratifyingly awestruck voice, probably mistaking me, in one of those wild misunderstandings of childhood, for a newspaperman. Yeah right. With my 60 year-old Soviet-era folding camera in its felt-lined leather case, and my ancient Pentax SLR. But how could a child know about these distinctions?
A trained observer, I moved unobtrusively among these ordinary people. Gawping at the gawpers. How could these plain folk ...foreigners at that... be expected to know that Fray Bentos, Flickr's great Jeremiah, moved among them? I did look out to sea but couldn't see anything much. A couple of heads bobbed in the water. It was like one of those live outside broadcasts, where you wait for hours for a ten-second glimpse of some newsworthy personage or other. I took a few snaps and left.
Back at work after 3 days off. Inspiration difficult when no outside in the light. Continuing the angle/line theme with a picture of my shutters...roll on the w/e!
