Inspired by USSR constructivism posters often with text, abstract background and realistic parts of bodies that look like glued clippings from the photographs.
The lines are like roads or maps linking everything in our minds together and the stairs stand for something that connects the two spaces into one (conscious and subconscious). The eye is the most important form that has a dedicated position in the centre of the composition: it represents the intuition, seeing into complex matters.
This painting is fragmental, it has both abstract and realistic objects. Was painted with acrylic paint on 50x70cm canvas on the stretcher.
In these two papers of my notebook I was searching for the best position of the hand, I also drew a minimal composition of the space that I imagined and there I decided to leave the canvas in horizontal position. While doing a sketch a thought "Don't try to escape" came into my mind, I wrote the same onto the a painting with an addition that I though of in the process of painting.
