Made in Illustrator. For our final project, we had to make a series of 3 posters for a tv show, movie, etc. inspired by different art movements. I chose to do my posters on the Legend of Zelda video game series. For this poster, I followed the rules of Russian Constructivism using a slanted grid, geometric shapes, and bold block type.

Balance

Constructivism and symbolism combine to produce a very personal piece. The concept is that of a balloon and anchor, the balloon representing good days, the anchor representing bad days, with the chaos of life represented by jostling colours in the middle.
