The art movement/genre of constructivism, specifically Soviet Propaganda styles, is what I used as my inspiration for this 10 photo series as well as my fiancé who is retiring from the Coronado Lifeguards after 30 years of service.
The images were taken with my Pentax DSLR K-3 and my trusty 18-270mm Pentax Lens. Photoshop Cloud was then used to create these images.

Tyl School
Gymnázium Josefa Kajetána Tyla
Tylovo nábřeží 682/12, V Lipkách 683/1 in Hradec Kralove, Czechia
The grammar school is the successor of the Latin municipal schools, the first mention of which can be found in 1362. Over time, teaching was transformed into a Jesuit grammar school and later a state Austrian grammar school, which struggled with a lack of space for the last decades of its existence.
It was necessary to build a new building for the then Czechoslovak grammar school. It was decided that it would become part of the school block on the Elbe embankment, it was included in the city regulatory plan and in 1925 – 1927 it was built on the basis of a design by architect Josef Gočár.
Stylistically, it can be ranked among the beginnings of constructivism in modern Czech architecture. The building combines bare brickwork with cement plaster and is characterized by a three-storey monumental entrance that seems to open up in front of students and visitors. The building is entered by a triangular staircase, in front of which a bronze statue of the Winner by sculptor Jan Štursa is placed on a 6 m high column. The massive façade with pilaster strips is finished with a cornice, there are two memorial plaques next to the entrance and the inscription "Gymnázium J. K. Tyl" is on the frieze directly above it. From this entrance block protrude two two-storey wings articulated by horizontal cornices. The windows are four- or six-winged. On the southern wing there is a coat of arms of the Czechoslovak Republic by sculptor Otto Gutfreund with the year of construction.
Josef Kajetán Tyl, playwright and writer, attended the predecessor of the school which now bears his name.

Constructivism in Novosibirsk: "House with clock" (1934) dwelling complex. It is a corridor-type building with 3 entrances, one lift, and two corridors. This type of building is quite taditional for southern buildings but in Novosibirsk it is the only one. There are personal iron-barred windows and metal doors in corridors.
