L'université de Moscou : les constructions et projets se basaient sur une esthétique "stalinnienne" priviliégiant le monumental et le pompeux : il s'agissait d'impressionner. Les goûts de Staline s'accomodaient peu de l'austérité. Luxe ostentatoire, décors lourds de signification et gigantisme sont alors la norme. C'est une architecture du paraître (qui a plutôt bien vieillie)
Construit dans les années 1950 sur les rives de la Moskova, sept tours staliniennes, appelées familièrement "les sept soeurs" sont les pièces centrales de l’architecture moscovite :

■L’Hôtel « Leningrad »
■Le Ministère des Affaires Étrangères
■Le Ministère de l’Industrie lourde
■L’Université d’État Lomonossov
■Un immeuble d’habitation sur la berge Kotielnitcheskaïa
The Narkomfin Building is a block of flats in Moscow, designed by Moisei Ginzburg with Ignaty Milinis in 1928, and finished in 1932. A fine example of Constructivist architecture and avant-garde interior planning, it is presently in a dilapidated state; most units were vacated by residents years ago.

Here is an image I created for a college project on constructivism. Basically we we're required to research the history of photography and its Art movements, we were then given an Art movement and we had to look into it in more depth and create our own photographic piece of work, that links with constructivism and today's society. This is mine. I wanted to portray the idea that Iphones or even any type of phone are larger than life at the moment, like an invasion of technology. There is not a person that walks by that you don't see on a phone these days.

Rusakov Workers' Club in Sokolniki district. The eye-catching building is designed by famous avantgarde architect Konstantin Melnikov in the end of 1920s. Recently renovated to house Roman Viktiuk theater.

Продумывая концепцию модулей для организации общественного пространства в "Гараже", мы в первую очередь старались отталкиваться от архитектуры здания. Так мы придумали модуль в форме равностороннего треугольника (1,5 x 1,5 метра). Ведь собирая такие модули в группы можно повторить форму здания (трапецию).
Модули универсальны и могут использоваться по-разному (в группах или отдельно), они легко передвигаются для изменения конфигурации пространства, но в тоже время достаточно прочны и монолитны, а при установке двух модулей один на другой образуются стойки или столы.
Использование подобной системы возможно и на улице, это могут быть не только места для отдыха, но и клумбы или лайтбоксы. Таким образом, благоустройство территории фактически представляло бы собой бесчисленное множество комбинаций таких модулей.
