Among the bird world’s most skillful fliers, Cooper’s Hawks are common woodland hawks that tear through cluttered tree canopies in high speed pursuit of other birds. You’re most likely to see one prowling above a forest edge or field using just a few stiff wingbeats followed by a glide. (Cornell).

The bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) is a species of sheep native to North America. It is named for its large horns. A pair of horns might weigh up to 14 kg (30 lb); the sheep typically weigh up to 143 kg (315 lb).(Wikipedia).

Located on the North Island, the city of Auckland is the largest and most populous urban area in New Zealand. From the bay the view of the city is impressive. This photo was taken while on vacation; the first city we saw in this beautiful country.
