Across the street, I saw these three construction workers taking a break on benches (or whatever they are) in front of this very cool background and waved my camera at them to let them know I wanted to take their photo.
Bob the ninja construction worker terrorizes the people of Lego City. Criminals deserve punishment! J-walkers are no exception....

This construction site is atop a hill that was once home to a great forest. Soon, it shall be a fancy parking lot or Army Base. I can't wait!
Len, Sarah and I took to the hills to do some gold digging (she take my money!!!!) with what has become quite an elaborate gear configuration. Sadly, all the strobes in the world won't work for shit when you don't pack enough batteries.
I didn't pack enough batteries.

SB-28: 1/2 power, low camera left, shoot through umbrella
SB-25: 1/8 power, high camera right, 5cm snoot, providing backlight
SB-80x: 1/8 power, gelled green, lighting the stump
** Looking back, I'd like to get more even light on Len, but that's where the 4th strobe would have come in. And that bucket? You better believe it would have been flaming red. Oh, batteries...

My original vision for this had Len and Sarah coming down the hill at breakneck speed with a bucket full of gold bouncing around, but after Sara fell out of the wheel barrow and rolled down the hill we had to nix that idea.
Len is even more delicate.
