He is ready to get workin' !

He is about 7 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches wide.

Made with blue poly-cotton fabric, tube sock dyed yellow, felt, safety eyes, orange mesh, and reflector tape.

The orange mesh was a scrapbooking supply. I really like how he turned out, I will have to find more orange mesh.

Tattoos can be beautiful, interesting, tacky, or just curious.

This one appears to be a memorial. I cannot read all of the words, but the person remembered on this man's arm lived to be about seventy-seven. Perhaps it was one of his parents.

Although covering my skin with ink is not an option I would choose for myself, this young man is truly living with someone he's loved. The idea pushes the envelope. And, it's meaningful.

Something about it appeals to me.

They're building a 5-star hotel right next to the brand new mall.

The bypass is for Judds Brothers Construction from Lincoln, NE. The project is replacing a siphon sewer under the Iowa River. Griffin is bypassing the sewage from the old structures while the new sewer connections are made. Total volume is about 6,300 gallons per minute. Total duration of the job is 2 weeks from startup to shut down of the pumps. Griffin is bypassing sewage from 3 different locations on site, 2 operate at any one time. A city like this doesn't get built alone. It takes the effort and sweat of lots of men. Today, here's my tribute to them.
