The company that works with the formwork and concrete called a food truck to make wood-fired oven pizza for everyone!
This at the construction site of the new swimming arena in Täby, north of Stockholm, Sweden.

Hi! I want to submit a portrait of Nenverso, for a portrait contest here in vzla... I just wanted to have you guys' opinion on which was better... I'll post the other two in the comments part.
About the subject: Nenverso used to work in construction but now does odd jobs now and then, having to do with his old line of work. He's also worked as the "cage keeper" at a place where they host cock-fights, for example. His name is really strange, even by Maracaibo standards.
Netherlands, Rotterdam, Kop van Zuid, Wilhelminapier, Construction site of De Rotterdam, contsruction worker. (slightly cut from the top).
#11 of the Building the perfect beast set.
In many cases the first things that rise up from a skycraper construction pit are the elevator shafts. And with De Rotterdam there's no exception. A worker is seen here installing the modular molding system for the construction of one of those shafts. The flag he wears on his sleeve is Portguese - the Zublin construction crew is an international one

I was totally blown away by its grandness and originality! Many constructionworkers are still busy in- and outside Sagrada Familia. It has been under construction since 1882 and is not expected to be complete until at least 2026. Under the church - in the completed crypts- is Gaudi's (1852-1926) tomb.
from above, they become ants in a world they did not design, their orange vests small flames against concrete certainty. yellow cables snake through shadows like veins of possibility, connecting what was to what will be. in this geometry of progress, human hands still matter most. we build cathedrals from steel and glass, but it is the workers who breathe life into our dreams. every structure is a prayer written in sweat and precision.
... only the macro-lens can see those little scratches on the legs. One of my first toys ever. Even before Barbie!

I did this image yesterday. It is advantage to have 65 optical zoom in situation like this. Workers look like they are close to me but they were so far away on top on the building. I used tripod + shutter release cables for maximum photo quality.
I use name Pat And Mat AKA A je to from old Czechoslovakian cartoon (this guys always try to fix something but always destroy everything).
Plutocrat = a person whose power derives from their wealth.
And in feudal states, plutocrats with the greatest wealth owned the apparatus of governance and held absolute control over the lives of average people.
I tryed to make funny photo I hope it look good.

Pat & Mat have cool music, enjoy ;D.
the sign says works. he does not. for a few minutes the city continues without him, the traffic, the noise, the endless construction. he leans against a pole and disappears into his phone. everyone does this. millions of times a day. we stand in one place and leave for another. the body remains. the mind travels. when he looks up again, nothing will have changed. except maybe everything.

sicher gab es LEIDER hier und da ausnahmen, aber die mehrzahl der bauarbeiter
bekommen eine relativ gute bezahlung und moeglichkeiten aufzusteigen, so die stimmen von bauarbeitern in shanghai.

...because they made the grow of chinese economy possible.
they build every thing from a small house , streets to a highrise.
in the german you can read very often that the construction workers get paid very less.
somewhere , yes, but not everywhere. in shanghai the workers told me it became much better and they have chances to get better positions.
wish good luck for all of you

in madrid, the streets tell their own stories. here, color cuts through shadow like a defiant streak of life. a construction worker pauses, wrapped in neon, his silhouette carved sharp against the playful panels of yellow, blue, and orange. a man walks by, cane tapping softly, swallowed by shadow but not erased. the city moves, quietly chaotic, the hum of work and the poetry of ordinary people set against a canvas of bold light and darker corners.
vibrant, raw, and layered with contrast—this is madrid in a moment, caught between bright optimism and quiet mystery.

In response to certain criticism that my photographic interests tend toward the fairer sex, I decided to even the score. While my photos of women may outnumber those of men, let me point out that this man is topless, well perhaps shirtless - which is not something I can say for the women in my photostream.
You should also observe that he is posing. Well, maybe not, but he was holding the board well aware that I was photographing him. His one stipulation was that if I sold the image to Playgirl, he wants a royalty. However I didn't get his name, so if someone from this construction crew reads this, go to my profile page and send me a message.
And yes, my wife knows I photograph good looking guys also.
Construction workers taking a break. There are thousands of expat workers, facing unimaginable hardship for minmum wages. All of which they usually send to their familes back home. They are however extremely underappreciated and most Maldivians seem to treat them with hatred, as if they are a lesser race.
