The Construction Worker Minifigure from the LEGO Movie. His
hair is medium brown with ripples molded into it. The movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. The LEGO Movie is the first-ever, full-length Lego adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. This is a balloon at the Big Y supermarket in Bethel,CT.
Both these guys are construction workers who make less than 150 rupees (less than 4 dollars) by working one full day and they are still happy …

Spotted this fellow on Bayer's Road where they are doing work on the Petro Canada station near Bayer's Rd Shopping Centre.
Harry Bagherzadeh and Steve Stanford of Griffin Dewatering discuss the installation and layout of a dewatering system. Harry Bagherzadeh is a Graduate of Penn State with a PHD in Agricultural Engineering. Steve Stanford has experience overseeing installation of dewatering systems for over several decades.
A city like this doesn't get built alone. It takes the effort and sweat of lots of men. Today, here's my tribute to them.
"The red ladder"

In his letters from Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Bill wrote that parcels of 100 acres were cleared in 1943 for warehouses and barracks like this one for the thousands of workers building the Alaska Highway. All those men (they were all men) needed supplies, clothing, tools, equipment, water, electricity, fuel and food, thousands of tons of it, and places to sleep.
In a letter from Dawson Creek dated April 28, 1943, Bill described the barracks. “The building, which includes the kitchen, dining room storage and two bunk rooms, is about 180 feet (55m) long by 20 feet (6m) wide… The storage and recreation room is 20 feet, then the dining room which seats 56 at 7 tables, the kitchen, and then a lean-to that is for storage and the ice box. The three cooks [Bill was one of them at the time] have their bunks separate and there are eight of us in this part.”
