Planned a meeting with our contractor today to visit a property that is being prepared for renovation, so I could take photos of the progress. Of course, I purposely planned it on a Tuesday. Contractor took the picture, teammember Han (at least as crazy a person as I am) volunteered to join in - which was exactly what I hoped for. Thanks guys, for playing along with this crazy client.
I actually 'live' on the ground floor of this building during the work week.
An apology to my Flickr friends for not commenting much lately - will make up for it this weekend (this also applies to this week's FDT uploads).

Western Esplanade, Southend-On-Sea, Essex.
Lets wish the driver of this truck a happy retirement. He told me that he retires on 29th April 2016 and was looking forward to being able to walk along Southend Seafront the same as I was doing.

Really really loved them wink wink. For instance, I got on my hands and knees and sniffed their dust and gave them a kiss.

The tearing down of an old building always also means the beginning of something new. At the end of the day, the building that is being torn down was totally leveled. The little one to the left of the construction site is also going to disappear. Beyond that building, a fitness club will open its doors and the area of the current demolition site is supposed to become a carpark for the gym. We would have preferred the park without the car, but what can we do...
