Fitzwilliam Real Estate Properties are currently undertaking the construction of a 300 room hotel at the corner of Abbey Street and Liffey Street. When completed in 2020, the hotel will be operated by Motel One in its first venture into the Irish market.
The tearing down of an old building always also means the beginning of something new. At the end of the day, the building that is being torn down was totally leveled. The little one to the left of the construction site is also going to disappear. Beyond that building, a fitness club will open its doors and the area of the current demolition site is supposed to become a carpark for the gym. We would have preferred the park without the car, but what can we do...
