Humboldt and Frost in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This Scarano building has been sitting idle since last spring. It has had at least one stop- work order when a cinder block fell off the roof and crashed through the roof of the little yellow house next door. That house was condemned and the situation deteriorated next door. Garbage occasionally piles up in front and inside the shaky cyclone fence, they just recently fixed the sidewalk that was in shambles, but construction has resumed.

I guess this is where new construction workers come from...We need a whole field of them these days it seems :)

They are building something right up the street from my house, I went to take an exposure of the water tower, but these fine pieces of machinery were there, I couldn't resist. this is way better than the shot I got last night.

New construction at night, no flash. The partially constructed "executive homes" at Pepper Tree and Kaiser Drive in Santa Clara have a spooky appearance at night.
