Is there a parallel universe? Do we all have doppelgängers waiting to kill us? What consequences will result from breaking reality? Those questions and more are all asked in the thrilling new sci-fi drama Expulsion, which comes from award winning directors Sean C. Stephens and Aaron Jackson. Taking on the idea of the Multiverse, and expanding the science behind that truth into an edge-of-our-seat ride, Expusion is coming home for the Halloween holiday, and will be available to rent or purchase starting this week.

Expulsion arrives on DVD, Blu-ray, Amazon Prime Video Direct, AppleTV, VUDU and Google Play digital platforms starting Tuesday October 20, 2020. The story follows Scott and Vincent, played by Colton Tapp and co-director Aaron Jackson, who create a doorway to an alternate plain of existence in their garage. This comes with a scary doppelgänger for Scott, who has nefarious plans that could bring Scott's whole existence to an end. Joining them in this wickedly dark tale is genre icon Lar Park-Lincoln, who is perhaps best known for her role as Tina, the telekinetic teenager from Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.

We recently caught up with Lar Park-Lincoln via Zoom. Not only does she play futurist Shara Fanning in the movie, she actually had quite a hand in helping get Expulsion made, which she explains in her exclusive chat with Paulington James Christensen III. Joining them is co-director Sean C. Stephens, who co-wrote the script with Aaron Jackson. moviesblogs.com/expulsion-interview-lar-park-lincoln-and-...

In Slavutych, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena paid tribute to the Ukrainians who eliminated the consequences of the 1986 Chornobyl nuclear power plant accident.

“38 years ago, the Chornobyl disaster occurred. A radiation accident whose consequences went far beyond Ukraine, and even our entire Europe. The world felt that disaster. But still, it was localized. People stood up to defend life and fulfilled their duty,” the Head of the State said.

The memory of heroes — liquidators of the Chornobyl disaster was honored with a minute of silence.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone who protected lives 38 years ago and presented the Orders of Merit of the third class and the Orders “For Courage” of the third class to Chornobyl NPP employees and liquidators of the accident.

The President expressed his respect to all the people in Slavutych for saving us all then and helping Ukraine in the spring of 2022, during the full-scale Russian invasion.

“Slavutych did not submit to the occupiers. It showed its temper. It fought. It defended itself. And we all saw you right here on this square. We also saw the heroism of those of our people who worked shifts at the station during the Russian occupation. People saved Ukraine in 2022, and it is only people, our entire nation, that will defeat Putin. No evil can stand against brave people who do everything to protect life,” he noted.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also talked to the residents of Slavutych, including the relatives of the captured National Guardsmen, who appealed to the Head of State to return the Chornobyl NPP defenders home.

“We will definitely return everything. Not only our territory, but first of all our people, all our POWs: both military and civilians, warriors of both our Armed Forces and our National Guard. We remember everyone. We will definitely do it,” the President assured.

Christians must now look to the future where we will face the consequences for our support of a president that represented the antithesis of our Christian ideals. Here’s what to expect in a post-Trump America.

There's graffiti all over the cross, which sits up on a 7 foot rock mound. I hate that people would deface this, and break pieces off of it.

This is my "think spot"... had my first kiss here, and any time I need to seriously think my life over, I come here. I'm above everything, and can stop worry about school, or bills, or little things. I can focus.

I sat up here for 4 hours today.

I got home at 2 am this morning, after getting in the car yesterday and driving to somewhere in Missouri and turning around. That's how badly I need to think.

Nice visual cues for the pre-literate set.

WWII Okinawa

I found this in my Dad's albums, I scanned it and tried to clean it up a bit. I thought it was very moving and poignant.

Too add to all the fuss and bother, it seems Big T can be brought down... by a wasp. Two weeks ago, a sting swelled his hand. Today... total emerg! The Emergency Line [a medical triage help line] called 911 while Ted swelled with hives and almost blacked out; the first two paramedics called two more (with the gurney)... Ted's daughter was coming for a visit, but had to do so in the Emergency Ward. I promised home-made spaghetti - we brought home pizza. Now, he'll carry epi... and hopefully avoid bees, wasps, and all such stingy-thingies! [Even my sharp barbs... maybe.]
