This was on my TV in the hotel. The next channel up was /dev/rmq01 with the same description. I have no idea what this is. The other stations were fine (for definitions), but just not these two. I don't know what they were supposed to be, but it surely wasn't supposed to be this cool error screen.

This particular plane was number 4 off the production line and first flew on 28th October 1994 making it now 24 years old. As a test frame it flew for Boeing until eventual delivery to United on 31st Jan 1996. After its recent re-configuration it should see service long after those built at the same time have met the scrapman.

G. H. Residence was conceived less as a house, but more as an extension and outgrowth of the limestone and aquifers of the Central Texas geography. The roof structure is configured so as to create a natural basin for the collection of rainwater, not unlike the vernal pools found in the outcroppings of Enchanted Rock. These basins harness additional natural flows through the use of photovoltaic and solar hot-water panels. The water, electricity and heat which are harvested on the roof tie into an extensive climate conditioning system which utilizes water source heat pumps and radiant loops to supply both the heating and cooling for the residence. The climate system is connected to geothermal ground loops as well as pools and water features thereby establishing a system of heat exchange which minimizes reliance on electricity or gas.
The primary formal gesture of the project inserts two long native limestone walls into the site. The walls serve as the boundary demarking domesticated space with the vegetation outbound of these walls being native while the interior spaces are more lush and tropical. The program of the residence is configured along the stone walls each of which serves as the spine for the public and private wings, respectively. The offset between the main wings establish an exterior courtyard which will serve as an extended living space for much of the year. The siting of the boundary walls and building elements was informed by the presence and preservation of three mature native oaks. The house enjoys close proximity to both Emma Long Metro Park and
West Bull Creek Preserve.

Configured for a round-the world flight (or tour, rather) which at the time of posting is in progress with the Spitfire this morning in Oregon, USA, a Spitfire Mk IX with a combat record stripped to polished aluminium with innocuous markings related to its civil intentions. The team hopes to complete the tour during December. Parked near ARCo at the East end of Duxford airfield during Flying Legends 2019. Bon voyage!
The Steam Ship Petersburg, a specially configured tanker which pumps fuel from shipboard tanks, lists in Pohang Harbor, Republic of Korea, Oct. 20, 1998, as it waits to deploy a single-anchor leg mooring system (SALM). For the first time ever, all 10 NASA field centers participated in a multi-center NASA Social event Dec. 3, previewing the Dec. 4 first flight of the Orion Spacecraft on Exploration Flight Test-1.
Goddard hosted up to 25 social media followers to attend an afternoon celebrating the Orion launch. Attendees toured the Astrobiology Analytical Laboratory, where Martian meteorites and other samples are tested to answer two of the biggest mysteries facing humanity: How did we get here? And are we alone? We'll also tour Goddard's massive Integration and Testing Facility, where spacecraft are built and tested and the world's largest cleanroom where the James Webb Space Telescope is being constructed. Webb is the scientific successor to NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. It will be the most powerful space telescope ever built.

Influenced by OLPC, focusing on independent learning, I composed a 6000 book Calibre based library (over hundreds of hours) in conjunction with theCenterofthenet.com to teach small groups of parents and students. This online based EMS progressed to customized tablets and eventually about 50 workstations.. Initially adaptation was difficult, requiring the same digital immigrant orientation as previously experienced in the US in 1995, Eastern Germany 96/97 and Chinese classrooms 09+. Customized Ubuntu based systems, containing the library and other supportive apps & utilities were developed, targeting early adaptation starting with children 5-7 with parental support for lifelong learning. Workstations enhanced across the curriculum ESL, with a strong emphasis on self-learning. Initially OneNote based notebooks were utilized, which due to local censorship/scalability issues, evolved into an open source self-created Cherry Tree based SELMS (Self Learning Management System). Manjaro replaced Ubuntu for easier rolling updates and administration. Every single skill I have learned was required to get to this point. You cannot spell teach without “TECH” (not my quote).
