A visit to the "Musée de la Civilisation Gallo-Romaine", Lyon, France, on October 27, 2022, accompanied by my SLR Miranda Auto Sensorex EE.
The camera was loaded with a CineStill 400 Dynamic (400D) and configured with the loupe finder X5 and x15 and its normal lens Auto Miranda E 1:1.8 f=50 mm fitting original Miranda 52mm Skylight filter.
The film was exposed for 400 ISO following the readings of the camera (measuring mode "S") or a Minolta Autometer III fitted with a 10° finder. Indoor exposures were hand-held typically at 1/30s and full aperture. The film was then developed using a local C-41 development local service.

About the camera :
This camera was initially sold out on March 15, 1972 to a first customer in Abbeville, France, and resold as a second hand by "Photo Ciné Saint Lazare", Paris, France one year later at spring 1973.
The camera was sold to me in March 2022 with the three finders available, three lenses Miranda Auto E, 1:1.8 f=50 mm, 1:2.8 f=28 mm, 1:2.8 f=105 mm all equipped with Miranda Skylight 52 mm filters.
EE stands for "Electric Eye", a system of diaphragm automated by the circuitry operating two CdS cells located behind the reflex mirror and making the photometry independent of the finders. The Miranda EE has two measuring mode : the pondered A (A as "Ambiant") and the S (spot) with the possibility to "memorize" the light value standing the release button at mid course as on modern camera's. the whole photometric system is fully functional on this camera and gives reading similar to a trusted external silicium electronic photometer (Minolta Auto Meter III).

As you can see, the downstairs master WC is under the back stairs. I've always wondered what "secrets" might be found behind the tile? No telling given that I know who configured this bath in its current state. The floor is shot in this room. Let me rephrase. The vinyl flooring is molded from underneath the surface around the shower and toilet so at some point, someone didn't bother with trying to keep the floor dry when they took showers and it ran over to the toilet area next to it, or the toilet used to leak too. Either way, the vinyl is disgusting and the chipboard overlay that was put on top of what is probably a solid pine plank floor is falling apart. At any rate, it's ugly but there doesn't seem to be much danger of falling through.
I have a plan for this bath when we get to it that will turn the WC area under the stairs into a closet for the downstairs master. There is wasted space where the shower was installed so I would like to move the shower area forward about 2 feet, make it wide enough not to bump your elbows, and have a smaller area for storing towels and such (that area is about 3 ft deep-2 ft of which never gets used cause ya just can't reach that far in!) The two feet that will be behind where the shower used to be backs up to the back porch (a future hall). I'd like to use that 2'x4' area for a storage closet accessible from the porch (hall) for things like brooms, vacuum cleaners, and several sections of shelf storage. The clawfoot tub that is currently in the downstairs master bath will move to the reconfigured upstairs master bath and that space can be used for the sink and WC.
I know I have a bizarre way of thinking about baths, but to me, a bath isn't a place where you go to hang out. We've got 14 other rooms for that. A good bath should be large enough for a person to be able to perform the tasks necessary for a bath to provide. Anything else is a waste of space.
G. H. Residence was conceived less as a house, but more as an extension and outgrowth of the limestone and aquifers of the Central Texas geography. The roof structure is configured so as to create a natural basin for the collection of rainwater, not unlike the vernal pools found in the outcroppings of Enchanted Rock. These basins harness additional natural flows through the use of photovoltaic and solar hot-water panels. The water, electricity and heat which are harvested on the roof tie into an extensive climate conditioning system which utilizes water source heat pumps and radiant loops to supply both the heating and cooling for the residence. The climate system is connected to geothermal ground loops as well as pools and water features thereby establishing a system of heat exchange which minimizes reliance on electricity or gas.
The primary formal gesture of the project inserts two long native limestone walls into the site. The walls serve as the boundary demarking domesticated space with the vegetation outbound of these walls being native while the interior spaces are more lush and tropical. The program of the residence is configured along the stone walls each of which serves as the spine for the public and private wings, respectively. The offset between the main wings establish an exterior courtyard which will serve as an extended living space for much of the year. The siting of the boundary walls and building elements was informed by the presence and preservation of three mature native oaks. The house enjoys close proximity to both Emma Long Metro Park and

The Project 633 class (known in the West by its NATO reporting name as the Romeo class) is a class of Soviet diesel-electric submarine, built in the 1950s. Project 633 was a further development of the Soviet navy's post-war 611 (Zulu-) and 613 (Whiskey-class) designs. The project was undertaken by Lazurit Central Design Bureau of Gorky. Only 20 of the Soviet Union's originally intended 56 were completed between October 1957 and the end of December 1961 because of the introduction of the nuclear submarine into the Soviet Navy.
By today's standards Romeo class submarines are considered obsolete, but they still have some value as training and surveillance vessels.
RPK-7 Veter (Russian: РПК-7 Ветер, "wind") is a 650 mm version, deployed operationally since 1984. Both missiles are given the same United States Navy designation SS-N-16 and NATO designation Stallion. Both missiles are torpedo-tube launched, with a solid-fuel rocket engine to power them above the surface. Both missiles are dual-role; they can be armed with either a 400 mm anti-submarine torpedo or a nuclear depth charge. The Veter's increased range of approximately 100 kilometers was an impressive boost over its predecessor the SS-N-15 Starfish, which could only reach half the distance.

Just configuring my desktop puter - just over £600 including monitor. I would plan to add another 1TB (to network it so that Karen can back-up her work stuff) and some more RAM at a later date.
As usual funds are low, so Phase 1 would not include the graphics or sound card (use onboard stuff from motherboard til then) which would take Phase 1 to £488.
SSD is an extravagance but would make the C drive super quick ;0,
Still - my laptop cost me about twice that and is just starting to fail after 3 years hard labour.

Members of Tobyhanna Army Depot’s Computer Service and Repair Branch have configured, diagnosed and updated software for more than 28,600 Military Health System (MHS) network infrastructure devices for Department of Defense hospitals and clinics around the world. When devices such as routers, switches, laptops or servers become non-operational, the MHS Cyberinfrastructure Services Directorate replaces them with spares maintained at the depot. Faulty devices are sent here for branch technicians to diagnose and repair. Tobyhanna’s Command, Control and Computer Systems/Avionics Directorate started working on this program in the late 1990s. Cyberinfrastructure employees are responsible for evaluating, delivering and managing the network layer and all infrastructure support services for MHS. The health system weaves together health care delivery, medical education, public health, private sector partnerships and cutting edge medical research and development. The MHS consists of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs; the medical departments of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Joint Chiefs of Staff ; the Combatant Command surgeons; and TRICARE providers including private sector healthcare providers, hospitals and pharmacies. My MacPro was configured with 6 modules of 1GB RAM; two slots empty. '1066MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM' memory modules are finally out in the market; but no 4GB available yet. I got 2GB modules x 2 today to fill empty slots and the total RAM is now 10GB.
With detachable mother board, adding or removing RAM is just a piece of cake now.
Blue lapis rings are generally made in sterling silver but you can also request for a gold lapis ring. This lapis lazuli ring for men looks awesome and is configured to be durable and long lasting. Kaisilver custom jewelry is crafted with a metal (gold or silver weight) that is around 40% to 50% more than what other jewelers provide. While this does add to the price tag of the MAN65 lapis ring, it also makes the jewel more sturdy and long lasting.
A short note about the blue lapis gemstone in your ring. Lapis lazuli is a stunning deep-blue metamorphic rock prized for its vibrant color and historical significance. Unlike ruby, diamond, peridot or most other gemstones that are made up of just 1 mineral, lapis lazuli is a rock comprising of more than 1 mineral - mainly lazuli, pyrite and calcite.
Most buyers do not know that dark blue lapis with no white spots and with a uniform blue color is generally, dyed lapis. The gem stone is actually a combination of lazurite, calcite and pyrite. This is a fact that makes lapis lazuli a unique gemstone.
Since each men's gemstone ring is fully handcrafted, you could request for design modifications and we can also craft a blue lapis ring, with your own design concept.
When ordering a lapis ring or any other custom made jewelry from Kaisilver, you have an unrestricted choice of gemstones. The MAN66 for example, can be crafted with lapis or any other gemstone. You could also pick any ring design from our website and request for it to be custom made, with blue lapis lazuli.
A close look at the Kaisilver lapis ring shown above, will help you better understand the white spots that exists on natural lapis lazuli. Get more information on this impressive men's lapis lazuli ring at www.kaijewels.com/mens-lapis-ring-kj-01.htm
You can email the Kaisilver team at sales@kaisilver.com for any queries related to gems and jewelry.
