Planned Puter
Just configuring my desktop puter - just over £600 including monitor. I would plan to add another 1TB (to network it so that Karen can back-up her work stuff) and some more RAM at a later date.
As usual funds are low, so Phase 1 would not include the graphics or sound card (use onboard stuff from motherboard til then) which would take Phase 1 to £488.
SSD is an extravagance but would make the C drive super quick ;0,
Still - my laptop cost me about twice that and is just starting to fail after 3 years hard labour.
