Before landing on Namur soil, the Pavilion was the symbol of Belgium at the Universal Exhibition in Milan. This creation by Patrick Genard, awarded for its eco-design, daringly completes the landscape of the Citadel. Today, perched on its promontory, the Pavilion is the totem pole of digital transformation. the Pavilion collects the visions of those who question the present through digital technology. His mission ? Allow everyone to take ownership of the challenges of our time through initiation, discovery and experimentation. Curious and daring: this is how the Pavilion is configured. Of wood, nails and metal on the outside, the Pavilion of the inside is built like a joyful organic creature, constantly changing. An evolution not unlike that of the world, made up of trial and error.

Completely did a reconfiguration on my PC ASUS Z390 Motherboard and by updating the motherboard BIOS firmware that is by flashing the BIOS up to the latest firmware, with no problems at all and which I have done so many over the years.

Plus, one good thing about ASUS Motherboards, is they are easy to flash the Bios using their EZ Flash 3 utility that is built into their boards and by using a flash drive to update the Bios with the latest firmware cap file. Which I got all the latest Drives for my ASUS Z390 Motherboard, from the ASUS Website.

This new update has set my Motherboard to allow the TPM chip and Trusted Platform Module 2.0 to be active for making Secure boot for the bootup drive for Windows 10 or 11. So I have configured the Motherboard "CSM" Mode for Boot device Control for UEFI and Legacy OPROM UEFI: which allows your computer to start in "LEGACY BIOS" mode and in "UEFI" mode. And the Boot\Secure Book Option for UEFI Only, to allow a Secure Book in.

UEFI mode is recommended for newer PCs that support it, as it offers advantages and compatibility. Nevertheless, there are scenarios where legacy BIOS mode may be more suitable, for example, if you have an older PC that does not support UEFI or if you wish to use a dual-boot or multi-boot system with different operating systems that may not work well with UEFI and also, some UEFI drivers will not support every kind of hardware that you add onto your PC.

Well, at least now I am happy to say that I have sorted out all my problems and running back up again on Windows 10. And now with all the new updates, I am getting from Microsoft, which is no surprise to me and say:

Great news—your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11.

Windows 11, version 23H2 is ready - and it's free!

Wow!

My ASUS Motherboard is nearly 4 years old and will support Windows 11.

But do ask myself do I want headaches with all the problems that I keep hearing from those who are running on Windows 11 and even I know some are having problems on Mac desktop PCs too?

As young Brother informed me, has he been an IT engineer for some years now.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! how sadly do I miss Windows XP, which I still think was the best operating system for desktop PC users, that Microsoft ever made to this date!

It was a beautiful morning in the High Country today with friends Erik Lindgren and Dave Cohen. This BNSF eastbound oil train at Tolland, Colorado, was our second of five morning trains on Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. The train is en route from Wellington, Utah, to a refinery on the Gulf Coast. The distant Continental Divide is still snow-covered and will remain so for a while. The engines are configured 3-0-3 with an NS visitor second out on the head end. Photo by Joe McMillan with Dave Cohen, May 14, 2025, 8:57 a.m.

Tolland was a wye, crew change, and engine service location on the old Denver & Salt Lake. Today, a county sheriff deputy and his family live here, along with several summer cabins. The old Tolland schoolhouse is visible on the right.

Samaritans Purse Douglas DC-8 on finals to land at Prestwick airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

The Douglas DC-8 is a narrow-body airliner built by the American Douglas Aircraft Company.

Since 1975, Samaritan's Purse has used aircraft to transport doctors and relief workers along with tons of food, medicine, shelter materials, blankets, and other items to aid victims of natural disasters, war, famine, and other emergencies.

In 2015, Samaritan's Purse added a DC-8 airplane to its fleet. Known as a combi aircraft, it is specially configured to carry up to 84,000 pounds of cargo and 32 passengers, significantly increasing the organization’s capacity to respond immediately in times of crisis around the world.

From yesterday, I met up with Rob Y for a morning hike through this gorgeous redwood forest nestled between Oakland and Moraga. Within the first 30mins, I managed to breach the high water mark of my wading boots and both filled with icy cold water. For the next several hours, I had to slosh around in wet boots, yuck.

Here are some goodies from the hike. Hope you like 'em.

Lens is the DFA 25mm f/4 on the 645Z. 2 exposure manual blend. The hardest part was configuring the tripod legs and head to be able to aim straight up. That took some doing.

Salmon Pools Trail, Chéticamp Campground, Cape Breton National Park, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada

I especially enjoy images with leading lines and implied depth. I enjoy seeing them taken by others, and in creating my own. Hiking is naturally filled with such images but not all trails imply depth or have a trail that leads to a conclusion that can be configured to have good composition and steer the viewer into (and not out of) the image. I hope you enjoy these recent images. All include roads, rivers or trails that carry the eye into the distance.

"How long to sing this song?"

Most of the arguments I've ever heard for investments in big science have specific objectives that are used to justify the expenses and grade the success. The investment in the Very Large Array has been paying dividends for 40 years now. public.nrao.edu/visit/very-large-array/ In modern science, 40 years is an extremely long time, and no one could have predicted the science it would be performing in 2020.

The array can be configured to cover up to 22 miles. In this image the hub of the array is about 3 miles, and all the dishes are quite disstant. Except fot the one just across the road from me. A low layer of smoke from the west coast wild fires obscures the stars near the horizon. All quite small compared to the giants of the solar system Jupiter and Saturn visible in the upper left. And even more so the dust at the core of the Milky Way.

Seems like there is plenty to observe. I'm guessing it will continue for many more years...so long as we continue to value the things science can tell us about our world and our universe.

On the matter of 40, I get the feeling, that the Psalmist would marvel at what science has revealed about our world. I imagine that the news that creation was so much bigger, deeper, and more diverse than what was known when the Psalmist lived would be a comfort and a joy.

"I will sing, sing a new song."

From another visit to Revs - the #1 Porsche (see first comment below).

1971 Porsche 908/3 Prototype

Serial No. 908 03 013

Flat-eight air cooled engine mounted mid-ship; twin overhead camshafts; fuel injected.

2997cc, 360hp @ 8,400 RPM

Wheel base 90.6 inches

Weight 1,200 lbs.

Porsche intensely pursued the 1970 and 1971 world championships. The 908/3 (pictured here) was produced to compete in two races: the Targe Florio and Nurburgring. They are twisty, difficult tracks where the 917 size and power were handicaps.

The previous 908s were coupes or spiders. The 908/3 was only ever a spyder.

The engine in this vehicle gave up 65 hp to the 3 liter 312 PB Ferrari rival. However, it employed Piech's feather-weight design. The 908/3 was 100 pounds lighter than the 908/2 due to the use of titanium. The space frame weighed 48 pounds and the body another 26.5!

Just 13 were produced.

The 908/3 provided a one-two finish in 1970 at both Targe and Nurburgring, the races it was designed to win. In 1971 the Targa was lost due to a driver error caused crash. However, the 908/3 finished one-two-three at Nurburgring.

The car shown here was built in 1971 and the frame was not built to specification. The chassis broke during the 1971 Nurburgring race, however, drivers Rodriguez and Oliver were still able to bring the car in 2nd place.

This model's win rate was 75%.

A 1971 configured 908/3 won its last world championship at Silverrstone England in 1980. A decade span of World Championships with the same designed vehicle.

In case you noticed the forward position of the driver's seat

- you are correct: the driver was seated just behind the front axle, with the pedals and his feet right at the front of the car.

A junkyard of dumped dreams. A props- and torture chamber for all the superstitions that the actors follow before their performances. Lots of plywood to knock on. A pool of worn out roles whose ghosts endlessly repeat their blanks and fade away with their lips hanging on the posters, with mirrors that multiply the misery.

Then they will sit together with the showmasters and talk instead of speaking. The quota killers who have nothing to say but talk anyway, and this vigorously. The next morning, breakfast program will repeat their words. A comfort in the isolation of the late night show.

An endless premiere party. The evening sky welcomes the stars, spotlight shines. Again, the moonlight falls on the steps of the grandstand, on the same pale deja-vu faces of people who want to step up higher.

Only the sponsor is missing but nobody misses him: An oversized video screen has replaced him, on which his beautified portrait is configured kaleidoscopically in ever-changing variations.

Champagne flows, people sip from lobster tails, they talk themselves into importance. Everything as usual. They wait for the performers, cleverly positioning themselves near the entrance as if by chance so that they can be the first to express their admiration. The expectation grows, the first performers enter the stage, people clap their hands- discreetly: That’s what the dramaturgy demands, as two performers are still missing.

Together with the performers a rumor conquers the room. Where are they? Will they come? Quiet suspicions drift from one ear through the next, like the draught of wind whispering in the empty corridor of the entrance hall. The bravi get stuck in the gnashing of teeth of half-open mouths.

„Standing Ovations“. Even the video screen is desperately stuck flashing Bravo. BRAVO. BRAVO. But they won't come.

Outside, the two cast a last glance through the closed windows of the theater at the frustrated audience in their most significant role as performers. Then the both leave to an open ending.

There’s nothing more frustrating for an audience whose seeking a closure, than facing an open ending. For those who leave the closure behind the open ending is the pure bliss of universal opportunity. We opened the door as we closed it. ILY my Sunny Side

Peggys Point Lighthouse (also known as Peggy's Cove Lighthouse) is in Peggys Cove and is an iconic Canadian image. It is one of the busiest tourist attractions in Nova Scotia and is a prime attraction on the Lighthouse Trail scenic drive. The lighthouse marks the eastern entrance of St. Margarets Bay and is officially known as the Peggys Point Lighthouse.

Peggys Cove is a classic red-and-white lighthouse still operated by the Canadian Coast Guard. The light station is situated on an extensive granite outcrop at Peggys Point, immediately south of the village and its cove. This lighthouse is one of the most-photographed structures in Atlantic Canada and one of the most recognizable lighthouses in the world.

Visitors may explore the granite outcrop on Peggys Point around the lighthouse; despite numerous signs warning of unpredictable surf (including one on a bronze plaque on the lighthouse itself), several visitors each year are swept off the rocks by waves, sometimes drowning.

Peggys Cove is 43 kilometers (26 miles) southwest of downtown Halifax and comprises one of the numerous small fishing communities located around the perimeter of the Chebucto Peninsula. The community is named after the cove of the same name, a name also shared with Peggy's Point, immediately to the east of the cove. Swissair Flight 111

Swissair Flight 111 (SR111, SWR111) was a Swissair McDonnell Douglas MD-11 on a scheduled airline flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, United States to Cointrin International Airport in Geneva, Switzerland. This flight was also a codeshare flight with Delta Air Lines.

On Wednesday, 2 September 1998, the aircraft used for the flight, registered HB-IWF, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean southwest of Halifax International Airport at the entrance to St. Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia. The crash site was 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from shore, roughly equidistant from the tiny fishing and tourist communities of Peggys Cove and Bayswater. All 229 people on board died—the highest death toll of any aviation accident involving a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 and the second-highest of any air disaster to occur in Canada, after Arrow Air Flight 1285. This is one of only two hull losses of the passenger configured MD-11, along with China Airlines Flight 642.

The initial search and rescue response, crash recovery operation, and resulting investigation by the Government of Canada took over four years and cost CAD 57 million (at that time approximately US$38 million). The Transportation Safety Board of Canada's (TSB) official report of their investigation stated that flammable material used in the aircraft's structure allowed a fire to spread beyond the control of the crew, resulting in a loss of control and the crash of the aircraft.

Swissair Flight 111 was known as the "UN shuttle" due to its popularity with United Nations officials; the flight often carried business executives, scientists, and researchers

Aircraft

The aircraft, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11, serial number 48448 registered HB-IWF, was manufactured in 1991 and Swissair was its only operator. It bore the title of Vaud, in honor of the Swiss canton of the same name. The airframe had a total of 36,041 hours. The three engines were Pratt & Whitney 4462s. The cabin was configured with 241 seats (12 six-abreast first-, 49 seven-abreast business-, and 180 nine-abreast economy-class). First- and business-class seats were equipped with an in seat in-flight entertainment system, installed at some point after initial entry into service. (Wikipedia)

The crew of SCFE Cane 1 would spend no more than 40 minutes doing their work at the Miami Locks loadout, located about a mile east from the western end of the Lake Harbor Block. Their 17 empties would be interchanged for 15 loads destined for the Clewiston Mill. Once their air brake test was complete, it was back west to town for the crew to cap off their lengthy work day.

Exactly one hour before sunset, #USSC6324, U.S. Sugar’s sole SD40T-2, operating SCFE Cane 1, makes itself known to the residents of Lake Harbor on its journey west to Clewiston while thundering over the Miami Canal with their sugar cane loads, blasting its [oddly-configured] K5LA for the grade crossing. The regal class 309s operating the London Liverpool St - Clacton & Walton route were the first 25Kv EMUs to be constructed by British Rail in 1962/63. Built at York Carriage Works they were designed for 100mph running and configured in three separate formations:

- 601–608 – Two-car units (309/1)

- 611–618 – Four-car units containing a griddle car (309/2)

- 621–627 – Four-car units (309/3)

While the 2-car units could be operated on their own, they were designed to be run in tandem with a pair of 4-car units so improving the power-to-weight ratio and making the rush-hour timetable more robust.

Originally classified as AM9 (pre-TOPS) they were actually designed for use on an electrified East Coast Mainline, but when the electrification project failed to get off the ground they were diverted instead to the Great Eastern Main Line and became known as the 'Clacton Express' trains. With a 10-car formation generating some 3,384 horsepower, they were significantly more powerful than the Britannia Pacifics they replaced.

In later years the formations were tweaked and the 2-car units augmented to 4-car sets. These elegant units would eventually be displaced from the Clacton route between 1992 and early 1994 with the final trains running in January 1994. Not surprisingly the contemporary class 321 replacements lacked the visual elegance of the 309s, both externally and internally, and, perhaps tellingly, became known as the 'Dusty Bins' due to the 3-2-1 class number resonating with a certain TV show of the day.

In this shot, a Clacton and Walton - Liverpool St service (1F48), unit 626 leading, is captured approaching Colchester with an up express. Colchester Depot (30E/CR) is on the right with an unidentified class 31 and class 47 resting up.

Sadly the once wrap-around front windows adorning the cab had been designed out by this time and replaced by a pair of non-curved panes on each side. Much less expensive to replace when cracked / damaged.

This image was captured on a Yashicamat 124G twin lens reflex, and cropped. A relatively cheap medium-format camera that was superb for across-the-frame sharpness for non-moving subjects and which gave the Nikkor lenses a decent run for their money. With the reverse waist-level finder however, moving subjects were tricky and, as I found, best left to the Nikkormat FT2.

The castle of Berlanga de Duero is located in the town of the same name, belongs to the province of Soria and was built between the fifteenth century, when it served as a stately castle, and the sixteenth when it was transformed into an artillery fortress. Previously, in the 10th and 11th centuries, there was a Muslim fortress that, in the 12th century, after the Castilian conquest, was extended with the outer walled belt that remains.

Bordered by the River Escalote and embraced by the Duero, it is crowned by the imposing silhouette of the castle that watches over it from the Coborrón. The monumental complex is made up of the remains of the late medieval fortress (15th century), the artillery fortress from the Renaissance period (16th century), the wall that surrounds the hill at its base (12th century) and the Palace of the Dukes of Frías ( century XVI).

The complex began between 1460 and 1480 by order of D. Luis Tovar and Doña María de Guzmán, who ordered the building of the stately castle, to serve as a defensive fortress and family residence, on top of a previous castle located on top of the hill. where the primitive town of Berlanga was located, protected by the wall located at the foot of the hill.

In the year 1512 the new castle was projected and began to be executed, configured as an artillery fortress, for military purposes. This new fortress was adapted both to the steep topography of the land and to the previous construction (the stately medieval castle).

In the construction program of the Tovar lineages and the Dukes of Frías was also the erection of the palace in the inner enclosure of the 12th century wall, adapted to the new ways of life. This palace and its intramural gardens structured on various levels suffered, in 1811, a fire and destruction by Napoleonic troops, so that today only its main façade remains.

During the years 2004-2005, the Junta de Castilla y León undertook a Master Plan, a set of plans and actions aimed at the best conservation, protection and revitalization of this rich heritage. Research studies, consolidation and restoration of the remains of the monument or actions in the environment are included.

The stately castle (15th century) has a rectangular floor plan, in which the circular cube in the southern corner stands out, and the homage tower on the opposite side. Inside, two patios articulate the space: one, at the entrance, simpler, functioned as a parade ground; and the other, designed as a porticoed palatial courtyard, with Gothic columns, has a cistern in the center with a conduit that leads to the water tank.

Starting from the medieval stately castle, the artillery fortress was built in the 16th century. It has a rectangular floor plan with powerful cubes at each angle, oriented to the cardinal points, the two front ones house casemates to install the fortress's artillery. The walls, raised with quality ashlar masonry stone, are five meters thick and are finished off with a sloping parapet to deflect artillery impacts.

(Wikipedia)

The largest family is the Mantidae ("mantids"). Mantises are distributed worldwide in temperate and tropical habitats. They have triangular heads with bulging eyes supported on flexible necks. Their elongated bodies may or may not have wings, but all Mantodea have forelegs that are greatly enlarged and adapted for catching and gripping prey; their upright posture, while remaining stationary with forearms folded, has led to the common name praying mantis.

The closest relatives of mantises are termites and cockroaches (Blattodea), which are all within the superorder Dictyoptera. Mantises are sometimes confused with stick insects (Phasmatodea), other elongated insects such as grasshoppers (Orthoptera), or other unrelated insects with raptorial forelegs such as mantisflies (Mantispidae). Mantises are mostly ambush predators, but a few ground-dwelling species are found actively pursuing their prey. They normally live for about a year. In cooler climates, the adults lay eggs in autumn, then die. The eggs are protected by their hard capsules and hatch in the spring. Females sometimes practice sexual cannibalism, eating their mates after copulation.

Mantises were considered to have supernatural powers by early civilizations, including Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, and Assyria. A cultural trope popular in cartoons imagines the female mantis as a femme fatale. Mantises are among the insects most commonly kept as pets.Taxonomy and evolution

Green mantis in a backyard in Sydney, 2020

Over 2,400 species of mantis in about 430 genera are recognized.[1] They are predominantly found in tropical regions, but some live in temperate areas.[2][3] The systematics of mantises have long been disputed. Mantises, along with stick insects (Phasmatodea), were once placed in the order Orthoptera with the cockroaches (now Blattodea) and ice crawlers (now Grylloblattodea). Kristensen (1991) combined the Mantodea with the cockroaches and termites into the order Dictyoptera, suborder Mantodea.[4][5] The name mantodea is formed from the Ancient Greek words μάντις (mantis) meaning "prophet", and εἶδος (eidos) meaning "form" or "type". It was coined in 1838 by the German entomologist Hermann Burmeister.[6][7] The order is occasionally called the mantes, using a Latinized plural of Greek mantis. The name mantid properly refers only to members of the family Mantidae, which was, historically, the only family in the order. The other common name, praying mantis, applied to any species in the order[8] (though in Europe mainly to Mantis religiosa), comes from the typical "prayer-like" posture with folded forelimbs.[9][10] The vernacular plural "mantises" (used in this article) was confined largely to the US, with "mantids" predominantly used as the plural in the UK and elsewhere, until the family Mantidae was further split in 2002.[11][12]

One of the earliest classifications splitting an all-inclusive Mantidae into multiple families was that proposed by Beier in 1968, recognizing eight families,[13] though it was not until Ehrmann's reclassification into 15 families in 2002[12] that a multiple-family classification became universally adopted. Klass, in 1997, studied the external male genitalia and postulated that the families Chaeteessidae and Metallyticidae diverged from the other families at an early date.[14] However, as previously configured, the Mantidae and Thespidae especially were considered polyphyletic,[15] so the Mantodea have been revised substantially as of 2019 and now includes 29 families.[16]Mantises are generalist predators of arthropods.[2] The majority of mantises are ambush predators that only feed upon live prey within their reach. They either camouflage themselves and remain stationary, waiting for prey to approach, or stalk their prey with slow, stealthy movements.[34] Larger mantises sometimes eat smaller individuals of their own species,[35] as well as small vertebrates such as lizards, frogs, fish, and particularly small birds.[36][37][38]

Most mantises stalk tempting prey if it strays close enough, and will go further when they are especially hungry.[39] Once within reach, mantises strike rapidly to grasp the prey with their spiked raptorial forelegs.[40] Some ground and bark species pursue their prey in a more active way. For example, members of a few genera such as the ground mantises, Entella, Ligaria, and Ligariella run over dry ground seeking prey, much as tiger beetles do.[20]

The fore gut of some species extends the whole length of the insect and can be used to store prey for digestion later. This may be advantageous in an insect that feeds intermittently.[41] Chinese mantises live longer, grow faster, and produce more young when they are able to eat pollen.[42]Antipredator adaptations

Further information: flower mantis

Mantises are preyed on by vertebrates such as frogs, lizards, and birds, and by invertebrates such as spiders, large species of hornets, and ants.[43] Some hunting wasps, such as some species of Tachytes also paralyse some species of mantis to feed their young.[44] Generally, mantises protect themselves by camouflage, most species being cryptically colored to resemble foliage or other backgrounds, both to avoid predators and to better snare their prey.[45] Those that live on uniformly colored surfaces such as bare earth or tree bark are dorsoventrally flattened so as to eliminate shadows that might reveal their presence.[46] The species from different families called flower mantises are aggressive mimics: they resemble flowers convincingly enough to attract prey that come to collect pollen and nectar.[47][48][49] Some species in Africa and Australia are able to turn black after a molt towards the end of the dry season; at this time of year, bush fires occur and this coloration enables them to blend in with the fire-ravaged landscape (fire melanism).[46]When directly threatened, many mantis species stand tall and spread their forelegs, with their wings fanning out wide. The fanning of the wings makes the mantis seem larger and more threatening, with some species enhancing this effect with bright colors and patterns on their hindwings and inner surfaces of their front legs. If harassment persists, a mantis may strike with its forelegs and attempt to pinch or bite. As part of the bluffing (deimatic) threat display, some species may also produce a hissing sound by expelling air from the abdominal spiracles. Mantises lack chemical protection, so their displays are largely bluff. When flying at night, at least some mantises are able to detect the echolocation sounds produced by bats; when the frequency begins to increase rapidly, indicating an approaching bat, they stop flying horizontally and begin a descending spiral toward the safety of the ground, often preceded by an aerial loop or spin. If caught, they may slash captors with their raptorial legs.[46][50][51]

Mantises, like stick insects, show rocking behavior in which the insect makes rhythmic, repetitive side-to-side movements. Functions proposed for this behavior include the enhancement of crypsis by means of the resemblance to vegetation moving in the wind. However, the repetitive swaying movements may be most important in allowing the insects to discriminate objects from the background by their relative movement, a visual mechanism typical of animals with simpler sight systems. Rocking movements by these generally sedentary insects may replace flying or running as a source of relative motion of objects in the visual field.[52] As ants may be predators of mantises, genera such as Loxomantis, Orthodera, and Statilia, like many other arthropods, avoid attacking them. Exploiting this behavior, a variety of arthropods, including some early-instar mantises, mimic ants to evade their predators.[53] wikipedia dixit

Samaritans Purse Douglas DC-8 taxes out to depart from Prestwick airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

The Nott Memorial is an elaborate 16-sided stone-masonry building which serves as both architectural and physical centerpiece of Union College in Schenectady, New York. Dedicated to Eliphalet Nott, president of Union for a remarkable sixty-two years (1804–1866), the 110-foot (34 m) high by 89-foot (27 m) wide structure is a National Historic Landmark.

Officially designated Nott Memorial Hall but referred to by generations of students and faculty simply as "The Nott" or "The Nipple" (sometimes "The Nipple of Knowledge"), the building's centrality and initial design trace back to Josef Ramee's 1813 conception of the school grounds, the first planned college campus in the United States.

The Memorial was designed by Edward Tuckerman Potter, architect of area churches and homes, alumnus of the college, and grandson of President Nott. Construction began in 1858 and was completed in 1879. The result is one of very few 16-sided buildings in the world.

For nearly a century the Nott was mostly open inside. In 1961 the college moved its bookstore into the basement and configured the first two floors into theater in the round. The upper floors were eventually closed off and fell into disrepair.

In 1993 the college began a complete renovation of the Nott, restoring it to its original design. The award-winning project was undertaken by noted Boston based architecture firm Finegold Alexander + Associates Inc and carried out by A.J. Martini, Inc., contractors.[3] The bookstore and theater were moved to other locations on the campus, and in 1995 the Nott reopened on the celebration of Union's 200th anniversary.
