This is the signal conditioner board. I made this PCB by hand since it's really simple. I soldered the components as if they were surface-mount type.
The schematic diagram can be seen on Botanicalls' website.
This is a project similar to Botanicalls + Twitter.
Instead of sending twitter updates (the XPort shield is rather expensive) it will show the status on an LCD display and/or a computer screen running Processing.

so we go from carving dark or light rocks onto cave walls to using coal once we discover fire. there's probably a ton i'm skipping until we get to the knive and we have all the 'craig <3 jenny' carved into trees and park benches, and ahh yes, spraypaint. that's a huge one. change out subway windows to plexiglass and we get legendary nyc subway scratching. a little while later graffiti research labs busts out their throwies,... but now we've achieved some kind of pinnacle with AC mutilation...

Trust is an underlying condition for the EU Digital Single Market and without a credible cybersecurity strategy, there will be no trust. In February 2013, the Commission published a cybersecurity strategy alongside a proposed Directive on network and information security (NIS). The latter is currently in trialogue negotiations. The next trialogue is foreseen for June 9. The discussions have revealed a great lack of mutual trust between Member States, which prevents them from cooperating and thus protecting Europeans.
The hearing will serve to raise public awareness about the current situation in the EU and make stakeholders face up to their responsibilities. It will also assess the cybersecurity part of the Digital Single Market Act published on May 6 which announced the establishment of a public-private Partnership on cybersecurity and a review of the e-privacy Directive.
MEP Antanas Guoga - as ALDE shadow rapporteur of the NIS directive - has invited government representatives and EU officials to take stock of the progress made with the Directive, but also look ahead and come up with some new solutions.

On Thurbo's GTW multiple units a new test software for controlling the air conditioning in the passenger compartment is running. The test has ecological reasons and also serves to prepare for possible energy shortages. There is a winter and a summer operation. From November 1 to February 28, the setpoint temperature in the passenger compartment is lowered by 2°C. From March 1 to October 31, the setpoint temperature in the passenger compartment is increased by 2 °C. The test runs still until autumn 2025 and the driver's cab is not affected. Since it was rather cold on the trains in summer and you could almost burn your fingers on the heaters in winter, these 2 degrees difference will hardly be noticed. I haven't felt any change so far. “North Park” is a magnificent 42 room Queen Anne style mansion built on what is the most elevated section in the Borough of Essendon along Woodland Street. Still in remarkably original condition both inside and out, with its gardens well maintained, “North Park” is one of Melbourne’s grandest mansions and is representative of “Marvellous Melbourne”.
Built between 1888 and 1889 for Melbourne brewing magnate Alexander McCracken (1856 – 1915) and his family, the mansion was designed by architects Oakden, Addison and Kemp. The contract was let to builder D. Sinclair for £10,750. The walls are faced with picked red Northcote bricks, relieved by dressing and bands. The residence is an excellent example of Federation Queen Anne style, as seen by the asymmetry in its design, terracotta ridge cresting, prominent gables and half-timbering to gables, and the tall chimneys. The roof treatment is elaborate, with dormer windows, a steep central pavilion, cresting, and a widow’s walk. The roof of “North Park” still has its original imported Marseilles terracotta roof tiles made by the French company, Guichard Carvin de Cie, St Andrew. Apparently these unique tiles feature the firm's signature bee imprint on each one.
Alexander McCracken died at “North Park” in 1915. The mansion was sold to Harvey Patterson (1848 -1931), an executive of the Broken Hill Proprietary Company, in the early 1920s. He and his wife lived there for a short while after his retirement. “North Park” was then purchased by the Society for Saint Columban in December 1923. It is them we have to thank for the house remaining in such excellent condition. Most of the rooms are still in-tact with original interior decoration and furniture.
When I visited and asked permission to photograph “North Park”, I was amazed by the completeness of the interior. It was almost like stepping back in time. The hallway still has its heavy Arts and Crafts wallpaper, tiled floor and original Victorian hall furniture. It is illuminated by a group of stained glass windows above the stairway is the glory of the house. Their theme is the golden age of ancient Greece. A smaller set of windows shows the golden age of ancient Ireland. I would dearly love to have photographed them, but that was not something the Father would have permitted.
It had long been our ambition to convert the basement of the Rotunda back to its condition in 1910. Ickworth Lives, a project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and your donations, is doing just that. Opened on 2nd March 2012, we invite you to discover the real lives of those who lived and worked in this party house in the 1930s.
The exterior of the Earl-Bishop’s Rotunda was virtually finished when he died in 1803, but the interior was still an empty shell, and the curving corridors and wings only a few feet above ground. It was left to the Earl-Bishop’s son, the future 1st Marquess of Bristol, to make what use he could of his father’s extraordinary plan. Having no need for massive galleries, in 1821 he instructed his architect, John Field, to redesign the East Wing as family living-quarters.
Field fitted out the ground floor of the Rotunda as state rooms in an austere Regency style. The West Wing was added purely for symmetry and so was left empty. The Trust is pleased to announce the go-ahead of a package for a project to develop the West Wing to provide new facilities for visitor reception, information, education, shop, restaurant, functions, conferences and events.
As the family lived mostly in the East Wing, the rooms that visitors see in the Rotunda spent much of the year under dust sheets, coming into their own mainly for parties and other special occasions. But as a result, their superb furnishings and decoration have survived in excellent condition and little changed since the heyday of the house in the Edwardian era.
The house, with much of its collections of family portraits, Huguenot silver, Regency furniture and china, and part of the ancient deer-park, passed to the National Trust in 1956.
The East Wing has been transformed into a four star hotel by the hotel company Luxury Family Hotels who lease the East Wing. Until 1997 the East Wing was home to the late 7th Marquis of Bristol who had leased the property from the National Trust.
The hotel has 35 luxury rooms - 11 in the Dower House a separate property situated on the north-west of the estate (opened in autumn 2002) - the hotel complex has three restaurants, a 50ft indoor pool, horse riding facilities and a tennis court.
Ickworth’s 18th-century parkland and gardens include some of the most stunning countryside to be found in East Anglia.
The Park
The extensive 1,800 acres of wooded parkland, created in part by 'Capability' Brown, is a living landscape rich in plant, animal, and bird life. Some parts cultivated and grazed yet much can be explored and enjoyed. Some waymarked field margins may also be walked. Access has been made possible through funding by the Forestry Commission’s Countryside Access scheme.
The Gardens
The gardens surrounding the house were created in the first half of the 19th century by the First Marquess of Bristol. Those in the formal Italian style to the south of the house feature the Gold and Silver Gardens, a Victorian Stumpery and the Temple Rose Garden. A raised terrace walk separates the south garden from the park.
Beyond the church are the remnants of an 18th-century garden created by the First Earl. His summerhouse (circa.1703) and ornamental canal still survive. The kitchen garden, protected by high brick walls, is now a vineyard producing Ickworth wines (available in the National Trust shop).
