This photo is part of a photo documentation condition status record of the Pasture Wash site, to include the ranger station, barn, water trough, cistern and water catchment system. This site is located within the Signal Hill Fire Tower District in Grand Canyon National Park. Each of these historic structures is included in the List of Classified Structures. All photos were taken on June 16, 2011 as part of an Interdisciplinary Team site visit. Visit intent included a visual condition assessment of the historic structures, photo documentation of the structures and discussion on necessary and proper conservation measures for structure rehabilitation.

The word ‘Lammas’ comes from the old English language, meaning ‘loaf mass’. It is a harvest festival, a celebration of the Earth’s bounty which traditionally was held at the time of the cutting of the first corn crop. In Ireland it is known as Lughnassah, the name being derived from the old Celtic sun-God Lugh. It is one of the four ancient Pagan Celtic Fire fire festivals.
A regular summer event since 2001, The Eastbourne Lammas Festival is a friendly family oriented free festival of music, dance and entertainment held on the Western Lawns. Organised by The Eastbourne Lammas Festival Committee and run entirely by volunteers, the festival raises money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI); generous festival-goers have donated over £10,500 since the festival began.
Along with the variety of music from the bands on the main stage and Morris dance displays, the highlights of the weekend are the seafront procession, the drumming, the open air ceilidh and the ritual celebration of Lammas. And when not watching the music and dance there are variety of stalls, crafts, storytelling and demonstrations on the festival site + a beer tent and food stalls to keep the festival crowd busy

Playing Cards

The Cloisters set of fifty-two cards constitutes the only known complete deck of illuminated ordinary playing cards (as opposed to tarot cards) from the fifteenth century. The are four suits, each consisting of a king, a queen, a knave, and ten pip cards. The suit symbols, based on equipment associated with the hunt, are hunting horns, dog collars, hound tethers, and game nooses. The value of the pip cards is indicated by appropriate repetitions of the suit symbol. The figures, which appear to be based on Franco-Flemish models, were drawn with a bold, free, and engaging, if somewhat unrefined, hand. Their exaggerated and sometimes anachronistic costumes suggest a lampoon of extravagant Burgundian court fashions. Although some period card games are named, it is not known how they were played. Almost all card games did, however, involve some form of gambling. The condition of the set indicates that the cards were hardly used, if at all. It is possible that they were conceived as a collector's curiosity rather than as a deck for play.
While it looks great after 43 years... its still very old and requires everything system to be addressed in order to have a bike that can be safely ridden.

To nurse just lift to access nursing slits. Size is L - not very sure cos the size label is missing. Note : thread has come loose on the hem at the back of the blouse - this can be easily sewn back and doesnt affect the nursing top's function at all.
Measurements : armpit-armpit is 40cm. length from shoulder to hem is 55cm. Check out all my other nursing wear for sale! Big clearout!
