This Light 12 was in gorgeous condition when spotted at the 2013 Crich Tramway Village Easter 1940’s Weekend. This particular car was made in 1933 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 29th of March 1933. It has the original 1.5 Litre (1535cc) Straight 4 engine which runs on petrol. The car is a local to the Derbyshire shows and the grey and black two-tone paint suits the car.

Unusual view looking forward under my 767-300ER in Madrid, Spain. We were preparing to fly back to JFK. The large yellow hose is the ground air conditioning, before it was turned on. The bottom of the fuselage is about 7-8 feet off the ground before loading.
A lovely condition example of an increasingly rare lantern. This lantern had been adapted to run a 135w SOX lamp during its lifetime, but thanks to fellow collector J.T. it was returned back to original condition running a 140w SLI/H Linear Sodium lamp. This type of lamp basically uses the envelope of a 3' fluorescent tube complete with bi-pin end caps.
Photocell is a 1970s Royce Thompson blanking cell.

In any case, a large portion of the advanced world doesn't really think about closing the windows and turning up the cooling when the mercury begins to rise. This is a simple perspective to fall into, in any event, until your cooling separates. Benni has such big ears that they seldom twist inside out. Here he had been playing with Bubba. Even though the focus isn't crisp, I loved how he was looking at me in the photo. I always wonder what he's thinking.

Grădina Zoologică Brăila îi datorează acest nume de cârciumă unui beţiv din vremuri de demult care şi-a băgat mâna în cuşca leilor, care erau pe atunci în număr de doi. Cred că cei de la zoo s-au aliniat poreclei :) , tariful de intrare fiind de 2 lei pentru adulţi, dacă ţin bine minte.
Pe de altă parte, referirea la lei este foarte nimerită, pentru că leul este unul dintre primele "exponate" ale acesteia şi a rămas cel mai important.
Dacă nu mă înşeală memoria, au început înainte de 1989 cu un leu de circ scos la pensie pe motiv de vârstă, pe nume Nero, care a trăit încă mulţi ani. În 1998-1999, când am făcut armata la o unitate din cartierul Viziru din Brăila, încă mai trăia şi i se auzeau răgetele din unitate. Cel putin aşa comentau colegii, că s-ar auzi leul Nero.
În prezent au cel puţin 6 lei frumoşi. În 2008 au trimis în Africa 9 pui de leu, fiind prea mulţi pentru a se descurca cu ei.
