I thought I had to click this as it was really soft and real yummy.
Just some Maida (all purpose flour), condensed milk, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, baking powder and some vanilla essence should do the trick.
I wonder if the photograph does justice to the actual cake.

Eberbach Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery near Eltville am Rhein in the Rheingau, Germany. On account of its impressive Romanesque and early Gothic buildings it is considered one of the most significant architectural heritage sites in Hesse, Germany. In the winter of 1985/86 the interior scenes of The Name of the Rose were filmed here.
Eberbach was founded in 1136 by Bernard of Clairvaux as the first Cistercian monastery on the east bank of the Rhine, on the site of a previous monastic foundation of Adalbert of Mainz, which had been occupied at first by Augustinian canons and then by Benedictine monks, which had however failed to establish itself.
Eberbach soon became one of the largest and most active monasteries of Germany. Eberbach Abbey was also very successful economically, principally as a result of profits from the cultivation of vineyards and the production of wine.
The abbey suffered severe damage during the Thirty Years' War, beginning with the attack of the Swedish army in 1631. Many valuable items from the church and the library were looted, and the monks were forced to flee, of whom only 20 returned in 1635 to begin a laborious reconstruction.
The 18th century however was a period of great economic success: surviving accounts show that the abbey profits were regularly invested on the Frankfurt money market.
The final decline set in with the French Revolution. The abbey was dissolved on 18 September 1803.
Today, Eberbach is a winery and special event center.

a few days ago, i shot camel's hump from home and in the valley below it there was a cloud of condensed moist air. Well on my drive home, I got to ride through that cloud - this one formed by a just pasted thunderstorm.
I took all my fabric out of the closet and piled it onto this metal rack, separated by fabric type. It looked this good for a little while.

The decision was made to upgrade the radiator to a larger aluminum cored unit which also has the benefit of accepting 12 inch radiator fans.

I let the camera pic f8.0 which softens the image a bit, oops. f5.6 seems to give the crispest pictures in good light but there was a bit too much light around when I took this. Must get a barrel and some ND filters. Or maybe just buy a DSLR, which would probably be cheaper!
Ca phe sua da or cafe sua da (Vietnamese: cà phê sữa đá) is a unique Vietnamese coffee recipe. Literally, ca phe sua da means "iced milk coffee". Ca phe sua da can be made simply by mixing black coffee (typically a dark French roast, often with chicory) with about a quarter to a half as much sweetened condensed milk and then pouring it over ice. The coffee is traditionally brewed with a small drip filter into a cup containing the condensed milk. The condensed milk and coffee are stirred together and then poured over the ice. Ca phe sua nong (Vietnamese: cà phê sữa nóng) - literally, "hot milk coffee" - is made by excluding the ice.
By the late 1990s, Vietnam had become the world's #2 coffee producer, after Brazil.

I recently found this pic after 5 years, and i think it was toast with condensed milk in between (nai yow do) but then that would mean it's a dessert.. but why is there a piece of tomato there then??
For my eldest son's Social Studies project, he had to make a dish from Latin America. This cookie recipe from Argentina included a strange filling between two cookies, made by boiling a can of condensed milk for three hours. The milk transforms into caramel, and I hear it is quite tasty!

oEcology: The Baja tickler is a new plant growth form described as resembling a hollow tree. It performs an important function by absorbing, condensing, and purifying atmospheric toxins.

The baja tickler (Na’vi name: txumtsä’wll meaning “poison-squirting plant”) resembles no plant growth form on Earth and is unique on Pandora.
It has been described as something like a large hollow tree that grows at an incline. A cluster of large spiny leaves adorns the top, and large roots extend out from the underside of the stem, growing into the soil and helping to anchor and prop up the plant. The surface is rough and green due to a dense covering of small mosslike plants that can withstand high temperatures and harsh conditions.
The baja tickler is one of the most important plants on Pandora, but is also one of the most dangerous. It plays an important role on the moon by helping to detoxify the atmosphere. Toxic gases (mostly volcanic in origin) are absorbed into the plant body, where they dissolve into a pool of watery liquid that accumulates inside. This primeval ‘soup’ periodically builds up pressure and temperature and is squirted explosively in a toxic plume from the top of the plant. The Na’vi recognize both the value and potential danger of the plant and mainly avoid it.
At some point, the baja tickler population of Pandora was negatively impacted, limiting the ability of some plants to hold toxic gases. In Pandora’s future, offworld visitors from Earth are encouraged to join in conservation efforts to protect and regrow the plants by touching them. When the damaged plants are touched enough by multiple people, they release a seed filled mist.

At the Pandoran Research Foundation, there is little we love more than sharing information about the flora, fauna and geology of Pandora. Discovery—along with preservation, education and citizen science activation—is at the heart of our mission.
So it’s with great pleasure that we share one of the strangest and most crucial botanical components of the Pandoran biosphere: the flaska reclinata.
Larger Than Life
The first thing you’ll notice about this plant? It’s big—about it can be up to 7-8 meters tall, with up to 12 meters of spread from its base. And why measure from the base, when most large tree spread is calculated by measuring the longest point between branches? Because although this plant may resemble a tree in its overall size, it has no branches, and grows at an incline, buttressed by support roots. Picture a sea cucumber the size of a tree, and you’ll be in the neighborhood; then add long, spiny leaves to the top, and a thick distribution of green symbiotic plants covering the base like lichen. And as sturdy as the trunk looks, it’s also incredibly sensitive: when touched by a passing animal or human, the flaska reclinata will release a cloud of spores. The more it’s touched, the more spores are released. This, scientists believe, is the species’ primary form of self-perpetuation.
It is a true alien in our body of botanical knowledge. And this is just the beginning. Now for the inside of this incredible plant—which is mostly hollow. But you definitely wouldn’t want to venture inside.
Deadly Efficiency
We’re not just being cheeky when we compare the flaska reclinata to Earth’s sea cucumber. Much like a sea cucumber will process sediment, animal droppings, and decomposing plankton on the ocean floor, flaska performs a similar cleaning function with the atmosphere of Pandora. Like a mechanical air filter, it absorbs toxic gases from the atmosphere, right through its bark, and then distills the gas into a liquid that collects in the plant’s hollow interior.
Like a factory, the flaska reclinata works at this crucial act of atmospheric purification constantly. So much so that two very important things happen. First, the overall atmosphere of Pandora gets measurably cleaner: scientists have detected much lower airborne toxicity levels in regions with the plants than in those without.
The second thing that happens is that, over time, the toxic liquid collecting in the plant’s interior will become unstable, due either to changes in volume, temperature, or pressure. And like an erupting volcano, there’s only one way for the flaska reclinata to release that pressure. Without warning, it will spew a violent, heavy jet of the toxic liquid through the opening at its top, spraying the surrounding landscape—and any unfortunate creatures who happen to be in the way. For humans, getting doused by this toxic stew would be a guaranteed trip to the medic, so our advice is that as thrilling as it may sound to take your chances when exploring the jungles of Pandora, sightseers should always approach a flaska reclinata with an experienced field guide.
