Mic sat on sheet of opaque glass, 2 SB800s (1/8 power) triggered optically positioned underneath, one gelled blue, the other pink. Bowens head fired via sync cable through medium softbox fom above, right and behind camera.

The light was a little challenging here: Either very bright or quite dark. I actually said screw it, I'm not exploring the upper areas, because my feet were in darkness and the sunlight was in my eyes.

Simple cake with condensed milk filling.
Made these from a recipe I found on Green Gourmet Giraffe for Chocolate Chip Cookies with Condensed Milk: gggiraffe.blogspot.com/2010/03/flat-pack-chocolate-chip-c... but they didn't look anywhere near as good as hers. The dough was way too dry to do anything but be flour, so I kept adding (regular) milk to get it to a decent "cookie" consistency. They didn't spread either, or brown all that much... but they had chocolate, were sweet, and they used up that annoying can of SC milk in the Club's pantry!

I thought I had to click this as it was really soft and real yummy.
Just some Maida (all purpose flour), condensed milk, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, baking powder and some vanilla essence should do the trick.
I wonder if the photograph does justice to the actual cake.

Eberbach Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery near Eltville am Rhein in the Rheingau, Germany. On account of its impressive Romanesque and early Gothic buildings it is considered one of the most significant architectural heritage sites in Hesse, Germany. In the winter of 1985/86 the interior scenes of The Name of the Rose were filmed here.
Eberbach was founded in 1136 by Bernard of Clairvaux as the first Cistercian monastery on the east bank of the Rhine, on the site of a previous monastic foundation of Adalbert of Mainz, which had been occupied at first by Augustinian canons and then by Benedictine monks, which had however failed to establish itself.
Eberbach soon became one of the largest and most active monasteries of Germany. Eberbach Abbey was also very successful economically, principally as a result of profits from the cultivation of vineyards and the production of wine.
The abbey suffered severe damage during the Thirty Years' War, beginning with the attack of the Swedish army in 1631. Many valuable items from the church and the library were looted, and the monks were forced to flee, of whom only 20 returned in 1635 to begin a laborious reconstruction.
The 18th century however was a period of great economic success: surviving accounts show that the abbey profits were regularly invested on the Frankfurt money market.
The final decline set in with the French Revolution. The abbey was dissolved on 18 September 1803.
Today, Eberbach is a winery and special event center.

In 1861 Gail Borden opened a factory in Wassaic NY for producing a milk that would not need refrigeration. Today, it is known as Borden's Eagle Brand Condensed Milk.

Embassy Industries Ambassador ONEX is a wall-mounted, direct vent, condensing gas boiler and tankless hot water heater. Direct venting means I can close off the combustion air vents in an effort to seal up the house. It also means that there is no longer a risk of dying of carbon monoxide poisoning in my sleep. The tankless hot water heater provides endless hot water on demand. It takes about 15 seconds to get the water temperature up once you open the spigot but then the hot water flows until you shut it off. a few days ago, i shot camel's hump from home and in the valley below it there was a cloud of condensed moist air. Well on my drive home, I got to ride through that cloud - this one formed by a just pasted thunderstorm.

History 101
For those that don't know about history ... Here is a condensed version:
Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic
hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer
and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
The two most important events in all of history were the invention of
beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man
to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and
together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two
distinct subgroups: 1. Liberals, and 2. Conservatives.
Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning
of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented
yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to
be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages
were formed.
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night
while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known
as the Conservative Movement.
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live
off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing
the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the
Liberal Movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became
known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the
domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and
the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and
beer that conservatives provided.
Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most
powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by
the jackass...
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer
white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their
beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.
Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have
higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal
injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group
therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule
because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.
Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Coors. They eat red meat and
still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo
cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors,
police officers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the
military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively.
Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to
work for a living.
Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers
and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans
are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals
remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They crept
in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get
more for nothing.
Here ends today's lesson in world history:
It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily
respond to the above before forwarding it. A Conservative will simply
laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it
will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more
liberals just to tick them off.

Must get a barrel and some ND filters. Or maybe just buy a DSLR, which would probably be cheaper!
Ca phe sua da or cafe sua da (Vietnamese: cà phê sữa đá) is a unique Vietnamese coffee recipe. Literally, ca phe sua da means "iced milk coffee". Ca phe sua da can be made simply by mixing black coffee (typically a dark French roast, often with chicory) with about a quarter to a half as much sweetened condensed milk and then pouring it over ice. The coffee is traditionally brewed with a small drip filter into a cup containing the condensed milk. The condensed milk and coffee are stirred together and then poured over the ice. Ca phe sua nong (Vietnamese: cà phê sữa nóng) - literally, "hot milk coffee" - is made by excluding the ice.
By the late 1990s, Vietnam had become the world's #2 coffee producer, after Brazil.
