Lilium longiflorum. And I have a demanding presence! Also a most pleasant fragrance.
This plant is native to Japan and the Ryukyu Islands. It is a stem rooting lily, growing up to 1 m high and bears a number of trumpet shaped, white, very fragrant, and outward facing flowers.
I love the subtle tones, all the varied tones, that give the flower/petals/stems their texture, depth and form, their delectable shapes accentuated, extracted and emphasised without the colour. Don't you agree?

A jester, court jester, or fool, was historically an entertainer during the medieval and Renaissance eras who was a member in the household of a nobleman or a monarch employed to entertain him and his guests.
A jester was also an itinerant performer who entertained common folk at fairs and markets.
The Medieval jester's cloth hat, called a Fool's hat/cap , was most distinctive consisting of three points with a jingle bell at the end of each point.
Another ‘novelty’ in the tulip world, no name yet, all it said was specialty tulips… to me they look like court-jesters, lol
They are of the smaller variety.
Have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

Three ladies with attitude! LOL
Love their pose.
Another variety, one of so many varieties.
Tulip Mariette has a lovely deep pink colour with an elegant flower shape.
This variety with the pointed petals was found in 1942 and has since then been a winner.
In 1976 the Tulip Marilyn originated from Tulip Mariette.

Fuchsia, free, fun, they dance to the tune and rhythm of the wind.
Fuchsia flowers from the garden. So delicate and pretty and in one of my favourite colour-combinations!
Fuchsia is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees.
The first, Fuchsia triphylla, was discovered on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola (present day Dominican Republic and Haiti) in 1703 by the French Minim monk and botanist, Charles Plumier.
He named the new genus after the renowned German botanist Leonhart Fuchs
The vast majority of garden hybrids have all descended from a few parent species.

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent.
It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. - Albert Einstein
Quo vadis… ”Where are you going?"
Yes, where do we go from here, the shock is dying down already as I see, the media interest will lessen quickly, yet the scars will remain, we’ll be a bit more battered, a bit more weary.
I feel like apologising to my sons, my grand-children for bringing them into this world… when all I ever wanted was peace…

Feathery soft.
The bud opened slowly into this beauty...
The peony is the only genus in the flowering plant family Paeoniaceae.
They are native to Asia, Southern Europe and western North America but grow very well here too, Peonies are actually very easy to grow; once established they can tolerate drought and suffer from very few diseases.
Colours range from pure white through baby pinks and palest peaches to clear deep pink and darkest rich maroon.
There is also a pale yellow but it is rare.
Peonies are only available between late May and early July, so get them while you can!
They are very thirsty flowers, so make sure you top up the vase or bowl.
The Greeks believed they could cure over 20 ailments and were found in every monastery garden.
Peonies have been cultivated for over 2,000 years, more for their medicinal qualities than for ornament.
The Japanese protect the earliest peony blooms from the snow by protecting them with individual small thatched shelters. Some geishas used to wear special peony colours.
The Chinese name for peony is "sho yu" which means "most beautiful" and they idolised this flower.
The common thread is that the flower always denotes luxury and indulgence.
I again tried to photograph them with lots of drama!
Take care, be safe!

LOL, I had these 6 glass, coloured ‘test’ tubes, and a big pack of feathers
I separated the plumes, and had some fun in the studio with them.
When finished, I saw the holder with the coloured glass, stored the feathers in them and was HIT by the visual: THE IMAGE!
So it goes…
I am not gay… these just happened to be the colours of the rainbow, which the gay community ‘appropriated’, making it sometimes more difficult for others to use these colours, without being labeled.
Well, I come un-labeled! LOL
I will do as I like, as you can tell by this creation from studio Indigo..
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet are the proper colours, so here Indigo missing, so I stepped in haha, completing it.

Sambucus is a genus of flowering plants in the family Adoxaceae.
The various species are commonly called elder or elderberry/elderflower.
The flowers of Sambucus nigra are used to produce elderflower cordial.
St-Germain, an American liqueur with faux-French branding, is made from elderflowers.
Hallands Fläder, a Swedish akvavit, is flavoured with elderflowers.
Despite the similarity in name, the Italian liqueur sambuca is mostly made with star anise and fennel essential oils extracted by vapour distillation.
It also contains elderflower extracts with which it is flavoured to add a floral note, to smooth and round off the strong liquorice flavour.

I created a propeller with the ‘maple-copters’.
More fun from Studio Indigo, lol.
INFO:
Also found under a tree in bonnie Scotland.
Maple trees (Acer) produce winged seeds called double samaras, which twirl to the ground in late summer or early fall.
They resemble helicopters in motion, earning them the common name of helicopters or whirligigs.
The seeds vary slightly in size and colouring among species, but all produce winged seeds affectionately called helicopters.
The innocent fun you could have with those twirly thingies, throwing them up, running after them (kept us fit!), guarding and treasuring your 'best' ones!

Every Autumn beautiful, unusual small nuts appear in the British larder.
They are not dissimilar to a hazelnut, but should not be mistaken for them; the Cobnut is a nut in its own right.
They are super-delicious fresh but can also be dried and eaten later in the season.
Cobnuts, filberts, hazelnuts are all varieties of the Corylus family.
They grow in Britain and can be found fresh from early Autumn, or dried and processed for using year round.
Cobnuts are very distinctive in their pretty, downy cover which, when fresh, is easy to remove as is the shell of the young nut.
Once they begin to dry the shell toughens yet will still only need a sharp tap to break.
When young, the green cobnuts have a taste very similar to coconut and as they mature and become golden, they are much sweeter and juicier.

Ammi Visnaga 'Green Mist' is an Egyptian wildflower similar to Queen Anne’s Lace.
It has longer stems, hardier blooms, and is lovely pale green.
Bishops Flower, Queen Annes are common names.
Bishop's Flower, or Queen Anne's Lace flowers are nectar rich and attractive to bees and butterflies.
Ammi ‘Casablanca’ is a wonderful border plant and good cut flower. It has larger, showier, more rounded umbels than Ammi majus.
Without doubt one of the best filler-foliage plants you can grow and a flower arrangers dream.
Ammi Casablance is easy to grow and adds a delicate airiness to any sunny or partially shaded border.

DIGNITY in BLUE, Centaurea Montana.
Centaurea is a genus of between 350 and 600 species of herbaceous thistle-like flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.
Members of the genus are found only north of the equator, mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Common names for this genus are centaury, centory, starthistles, knapweeds, centaureas and the more ambiguous "bluets" (in French); a vernacular name used for these plants in parts of England is common knapweed.
A classic cottage garden plant, the blue cornflowers cut well for arrangements and they are attractive to bees and other pollinators.

Merveille is French for "marvel, wonder".
Which I feel this lovely Aster is?
If your birthday is in September, let the Aster bring you good luck.
With the vast array of colours and sizes that Asters, also known as starworts, come in (over 600 species).
Not only are they lovely, these flowers will not fade as quickly as other flowers in arrangements.
This flower is often used to symbolise afterthought or true love.
A love of variety is associated with this flower as well.
In China, the aster signifies fidelity.
The name "aster" has Latin origins meaning "star".
Many stories tell the origins of the Aster, but the most popular ancient myth explains how asters were created from stardust as Virgo, also known as Astaea, the goddess of innocence cries over sin on earth.
Her tears fell as stardust, covering the earth with asters.
This myth gives light to the Aster's star-like beauty and shape.
