'Oh, Kitty! how nice it would be if we could only get through into Looking-glass House! I'm sure it's got, oh! such beautiful things in it!
Let's pretend there's a way of getting through into it, somehow, Kitty. Let's pretend the glass has got all soft like gauze, so that we can get through.
Why, it's turning into a sort of mist now, I declare! It'll be easy enough to get through--'
She was up on the chimney-piece while she said this, though she hardly knew how she had got there. And certainly the glass WAS beginning to melt away, just like a bright silvery mist.

A flurry of snow creates magic in the garden.
Suddenly the world looks different, brighter.
Indeed, we had our first snow!
Thank you very much, M, (*_*)

for my conceptual series I did the topic of how my anxiety does not change, define or weaken me. throughout my photos. I used many principles of design such as line, movement and shape. I wanted to show the process of when I have an anxiety attack. usually I have flashbacks during an anxiety attack of bad memories, so some of the pictures are taken of stress inducing things or where a bad memory has occured. this can cause stress induced panic attack which i actually had while taking three of my photos. I tried to demonstrate movement causing distortion in my middle photos so people can see what I see when Im having an anxiety attack or right before I have one. this project was very had for me to do, i am usually closed off about my anxiety but i really wanted to open up so you can see not only how i feel but how i see the world during. my first photo is calm and serene followed by my photos that are blurry then a calming but blurry one then by another calm photo to end it.
That’s What We Get for Whole Hole Hole - see the whole series and read the statement on my website raybernoff.com/2017/12/25/thats-what-we-get-for-whole-hole-hole/
Jason Miller creates his conceptually driven images in-studio, Memphis, TN. Miller is interested in making imagery that deals with human subjects interrelating and communicating through archaic 20th century artifacts. He works both in single imagery as well as grand format digital montage. Historical topics including Memento mori, Vanitas, and a self-reflection on modern human inventions of communication paired with mirrors and symbolism are placed in communion with the use of chiaroscuro, thoroughly considered custom museum dioramas, and highly detailed photographic based renderings. .
.
No images, mediated or otherwise, are used that do not first pass directly through Millerâs camera. The goal of the photographically created images is to transcend being merely esthetically pleasing in order to arrive at a materialization of the underlying thought process. "My work is designed, from conception to final presentation, to lay bare the struggle and chess play behind my process.".

A conceptual model showing my view of the main components in a FLOSS (free/libre and open source software) project, prepared for my PhD thesis. It's adapted from the core ITIL principle of 'people, process, and technology' and Eric Scharff's Open Source Conceptual Framework (from his 2002 PhD thesis), with links showing the key interactions .

Agresión Verbal. Agresión física. Agresión emocional. Destroza carne. Destroza mente. Destroza el alma. Destroza, destroza, destroza…
Borra toda ilusión, sueños y posibilidades de superación. Aniquila con sus humillaciones y paraliza.
La persona agredida se siente inútil, inferior, impotente de hacer cualquier cosa bien.

This artist's rendering illustrates a general layout of the RHUBC-II instrument suite on Cerro Toco in Chile.
From August to October 2009, a team of researchers from the US and Italy was deployed to the Chajnantor Plateau in Chile for the second phase of the Radiative Heating in Underexplored Bands Campaign (RHUBC-II). The arid, low pressure conditions permits accurate measurements of the amount of infrared energy reaching the Earth’s surface, which scientists use to improve energy transfer calculations in global climate models.

Lit with my Mom’s old Sears 8 millimeter light from the 1970s...the light kept burning its plastic casing because of a structural flaw and age... it would start snapping like popcorn and emit a terrible smell. R.I.P old tungsten gem. My cousin is holding a teddy bear that was one of the first gifts my father ever gave my mother when they were teen-agers in the late 1960s. Kodak 100VS crossed/ Pentax K 1000 combo.
