I was just sitting at my desk thinking that I don't take pictures of anything but my baby now. So I took a picture of my computer speakers just to make myself think that's not true.
I love my MacBook Pro - it is the only computer (aside from my first Commodore 64) that doesn't drive me mad with frustration.

An ancient 200MHz Pentium-clone PC. Was the first computer I installed Linux on. (Way back then I used Slackware. I've gone through several distributions over the years and now use Ubuntu.) Thus it was also my first computer with a name. Nargothrond is a city in J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion', and this would establish my future computer naming scheme.
I intended to gut this computer for parts for Gondolin, but only the cdrom was compatible.
