my 17 year old waits for condensation to form and then licks it off the can. We perform this ritual daily. I DO have water out for her, don't call the kitty police on me.
The computers are down and I am up. It's lovely not having the blasted things working. We can all work in a human way. We takl more, things are less rushed adn a better and more reflective job gets done. The quality of work is not in the flow of emails, excell spreadsheets and forms filed. We do none of that stuff instead we get on with providing service and talking to people :-)
I am using my lovely fountain pen. I can think right onto a sheet of paper via a pen. A computer and all it's functions and commands get in the way.
This one of the smaller computer labs in Whitaker on the 2nd floor. There is only 4 computers, and usually one or two of them are broken. Many commuters use this area to print off power points, homework, or check their networking sites.
