The computer room at System Associates Inc, Troy Michigan, 1978. The computer to the right of centre is a Prime 400 shared with Bricad Inc of Spring Lake NJ. The one to the left is a Prime 300 belonging to SAI and to the left of that is a Prime expansion cabinet with a Pertec 3+3Mb disk drive and probably a bank of modems at the top. The blue/white box above the P400 is the connection to the Telenet network.

 

I was there to install PDMS on the P400.

 

System Associates later were renamed Cadlinc, and actually manufactured the very first batch of Sun Microsystems computers, and a line of their own of Motorola M68000 based machines.
