We hung out with my friends Marisol and Erno. Marisol is making a CD of her choir, and we're listening to other CD's and drinking beer as well.
The desk and PC are all setup, but there is still much to be unpacked and the rest of the office to be setup/decorated. Oh, and we've got to re-install the old trim (after re-finishing it), buy, finish, and install the new trim... and then buy, finish and install the pocket doors.
While our one bathroom is being renovated, the 'art room' is currently holding a clawfoot tub and many of the guys' work tools and stuff. Figured another desk would be my painting area. Plus, computer distractions are helpful when painting. =P One day I'll fix the cords underneath.
Blake Bonkowski - I hate using SAIL and Moodle.
You can't change your name in the system, and it's embarrassing every time I sign in and see my birth name.
I just want to be able to make posts on Moodle without outing myself, or to check my grades in front of other people.

The arrow keys are a bit weird like this, but the shift key is in the "right" position now. And getting used to weird arrow keys is way easier than getting used to a shift key in the wrong place.
I like big heat sinks for CPUs. More surface area typically means better heat dissipation which means the fan can run at slower speeds and I have a quieter system.
Just because this thing was on sale, I ended up with a reject from Batman Forever as a heat sink. I had to pull the entire motherboard and move the memory over to make room for this thing. I also had to remove the top fan from the case.
After a night of testing under full load and the fan set to the lowest speed, temps in my case have dropped from almost 40 degrees to approximately 35 degrees. It looks like the extra work installing this paid off.
