Old Compressor
On the top floor of the old foundry an old compressor lays under a thick layer of black dust, unused since years.
The full-size spare tire lies on the custom floor and---with an attached piece of plywood---acts as a shelf. This is on the passenger side of the Sienna.
Later I decided to store the spare tire in the floor well, but had to deflate the tire so it would fit there. Thus I had to buy an air compressor to inflate it if there ever was a need to install the spare.

I couldn't find a bracket for a small block Ford that mounted the compressor low on the passenger side, so I made my own. The bottom bolt that holds the compressor threads all the way through into the engine block, so the whole thing is very solid, but also came out pretty light at the same time.

I ran across these photos on my old ThinkPad a few days ago.
A rack of refrigeration compressors at a supermarket. This is what keeps things cool and frozen. This type of equipment is located either at the rear, on the side or on the roof of a store. Pipes send the refrigeration to wherever it's needed; reach in cases, deli cases, produce cases, tub cases, ice machines, freezer cases, ect. The compressors kick on and off as needed in a somewhat random order. A rack can still keep things cool even if a couple of compressors fail.... Depending on how many compressors total on the rack.
This is the type equipment I used to work on. I think I spent more time on the road than working. I still do HVAC/R and electrical but I don't have to live on the road anymore and work long long hours.
