Abandoned compressors hall, disused from many years.
The compressors were equipped with measuring devices produced by the famous "MERA-KFAP" Measuring Apparatus Factory from Kraków city.

Every now and then something would sneak up on me while I was engaged in other pursuits. On this day I'd been tasked with doing a brake job on one of the trucks by Dad and of course it was noisy in the garage with the air compressor running when all of a sudden over the racket my world was rocked with the unmistakable BAAAAMMPP horn of an F leader. Weather was normal September mist and clouds and I was covered with enough grease that I not only screwed the exposure but didn't even make it to the optimum position for the shot before he thundered by. Anyway its 912 on September 6, 1977 with roster oddity 2228-A(top light removed due to wreck damage)leading 552 and 2229-A and 102 cars near MP447 west of Trout Lake.
In the Compressor Room for the big Airship Hanger at the Tillamook Air Museum. This would have been used to fill the Airships with Helium, during World War II.
