This photograph represents framing by showing the surrounding sky from the inside of an airplane. I liked how this perspective did not have anything else in the frame, as a few I took had the seat in front of the window on the side of the photo.

To create a more of a focal point in my image, I turned down the shadows, as well as the highlights, since the sky was a bit overexposed. I turned sharpening up to 60, and used the dehaze tool just a bit to bring out the clouds. In attempt to give the photograph more of a film style, I raised the black point and lowered the white point.

The mood I was trying to create was something a bit more dark, while using a beautiful subject. Even though this flight I was on was very exciting for me, the image portrays more of a sad flight, like leaving something you love. The aircraft also looks old, which seems like it has been on many many flights.

Gouache, 27 x 20 cm, 1944, centre Pompidou, Paris.

This my best example of birds eye. I really like this photo because the shoes are dirty and the laces are untied to give it character. I chose it because it focused on one image with no distractions around it. To create contrast in my image I enhanced the brightness and added texture for more detail, and also added vignette for effect. I was trying to create an effortless mood.

Nature morte au fusain de Martine, de l'atelier d'Idron. Un bon travail des formes, des ombres et bien proportionné.

This woman's dress had a great silhouette; pity that the picture is blurry and half the frame is taken up by a brick wall. Later when she asked me for directions I got a better picture (above).
