Il faisait tellement mauvais ces temps-ci ! Entre deux averses, j'ai fait quelques photos d'intérieur.
The weather was so bad these days! Between two showers, I made some photos of inside.

This is a quick video I've been meaning to make to invite you guys to my 365 project. It's focuses on artistic composition which relates to photography, painting, sculpting, and more. Hope you all have a chance to join me and possibly learn how to powerfully communicate your visual message with the same techniques the master painters used.
This is why I haven't uploaded many photos…it's consuming the majority of my time, but it's well worth the sacrifice to learn more and help others.
I hope to see you there!!

friday part of drawing project - drawing from 2 movies at a time. one's going normally, another is on pause for a couple of moments
I had an image in my head for how I wanted to compose this shot but it just didn't work out. Bosco is trained to offer attention to Martin so getting him to look straight ahead was surprisingly challenging. I needed a third handler which I didn't have. Martin ended up throwing a snowball to get Bosco to look straight ahead but then he also had to quickly get the bow into position. The result is that Bosco looks good in this shot but the arrow is knocked too high. This really bugs Martin. :)
Martin has resolved this issue by teaching Bosco to look straight ahead on a "Look" cue. I just need to get around to retaking this shot.
Rule of Thirds
This is is my favorite example of Rule of Thirds because of my cat. I love my cat and the her eye is exactly at the top right of the photo.
Greenscreened Samurai composition. This was a lot of fun to do! I used a leaf blower to get the wind in the model's hair, kind of the fun fact lol.
I will be writing on how I generally did the picture with before and afters on my blog: studentphotographers.blogspot.com/

This is my composition book. I bought it about 2 years ago. I've only written in it once. What I did now is put it in my camera bag. Let's see if it gets any use.

Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!
John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love. So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.
