Πομπή φαντασμάτων ανόμoια όντα και άλογα αφηνιασμένα περνούν απέξω, και φοβούνται οι περισσότεροι ζώντας στα όνειρα τους πως έρχονται πως σε λίγο φτάνουν να τους πάρουν.
Το τι είχαν και τι μάζεψαν γενικότερα δεν φτάνει κι αν κουράστηκαν, θα κουραστούν περισσότερο μέχρι και να πεθάνουν αν η ώρα τους ορίσει το πότε θα γίνει τελικά.
Στο χωριό ξανά και κανείς δεν μιλάει τα μεσάνυχτα κι αν ακούσεις το οτιδήποτε άνθρωπος δεν θα είναι, μα ούτε από αυτά που ξέρουμε γενικότερα στα παραμύθια που μάθαμε μικροί.
Ο μοναδικός ήχος από το σπίτι στο κέντρο του χωριού με το βιολί να παίζει μόνο του όπως λένε, και αν κάποιος το χειραγωγεί γυναίκα θα είναι στοιχειωμένη ανάποδα κρεμασμένη.
Πάντως τα παιδιά το πρωί για το σχολείο δεν φοβούνται σαν περάσουν από εκεί, στο γυρισμό δεν μιλάνε και το βράδυ στο σπίτι παρακαλάνe για παγωτά και σοκολάτες.
Στο μπαλκόνι να ακούω το κάθετη και η δροσιά πολλά υποσχόμενη του Οκτώβρη σιωπή, με πεύκα και έλατα ακούνητα κι όλα ήσυχα βραδιάτικα να με περιτριγυρίζουν.
Μορφές που μαζεύονται λίγο πριν αποκοιμηθώ στην καρέκλα και κάπου ενδιάμεσα συναντώ τα πάντα, εκτός την γυναίκα που αγαπώ και χωρίς να φωνάζω σαν ντελάλης ακούγομαι.
Ημέρα δεύτερη η σημερινή και η πρώτη πριν από καιρό και το κορίτσι που αγαπώ, ξανά κρυμμένο να βρίσκεται στο στοιχειωμένο σπίτι και αλυσοδεμένο απ'την τρελή της μοίρα.
Έγχορδα τα όνειρα της έκαμε μαθαίνοντας απ΄την κυρά της πως να κρατά και πως να παίζει τα πάντα, που στο τέλος διπλώνονται πάνω της σαν φίδια και κατάρες της μουσικής.
Στο τέλος θα τρελαθεί που έμαθε όλα τούτα να κάνει και που δεν είναι τίποτα παραπάνω, από την συνείδηση που έχασε μικρό παιδί που ήταν όταν ονειροπολούσε διάφορα.
Όσο και να της φωνάζω λίγο πριν αποκοιμηθώ το βράδυ δεν μου απαντά παρά μόνο γυμνή κάθετε στο κρεβάτι της, και για ώρες γνέθει με το μυαλό της πράγματα και θάματα.

The Korean Cultural Centre UK presents Hanji: Paper Compositions

The Korean Cultural Centre, UK presents Hanji: Paper Compositions, an exhibition that explores the possibilities of traditional Korean paper, or hanji. The exhibition approaches hanji as a versatile material, and features the work of over 20 internationally recognised and emerging artists whose mastering of various hanji techniques allows them to push the boundaries of making processes and practices.
While hanji was originally enjoyed by the royal family and nobility, its uptake became more widespread during the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1910) when craftspeople, engaged with making goods for everyday use, took to recycling paper from discarded, old books. The paper products they created ranged from shoes, briefcases and ornamental objects, to lamps, basins, and even water buckets. The making techniques devised by artisans using hanji, which include jiho, jiseung and jeonji, have been developed over time ever since.
Through spotlighting methods of making, the Hanji: Paper Compositions exhibition presents audiences with the rare opportunity to encounter art and craft practices, all the while revealing the intricacies of creating paper-based works.
*Hanji: Paper Compositions is a special exhibition that is also touring to the Korean Cultural Centres in Italy.
