My friend Romy gave this to me almost 24 years ago, and I've worn it pretty much non-stop since then. She came from England, gave this to me in Bondi; now I'm in London, and she's in my home town, Mullumbimby. How about that.

I took this image for later reference. I think I've been to six of these sights so far.
This is a three-image composite, since I couldn't fit everything into one frame. I stitched them with Microsoft ICE and performed slight alterations in Photoshop.

Composite to show some of the Milky Way. Each shot taken with Sony A7 and 28mm f2.8 Pentax, 8000 iso and 7 seconds exposure. 10 shots for each view processed with Raw Therapee and stacked in DSS with no darks/bias files.Image processing in Affinity Photo (lovely Bilateral blur filter). Stars show some coma and RT effectively removed the chromatic aberration. Ok result but can be much better with a better lens, more frames plus dark/bias files.

This is a three-part composite photo taken one Saturday along the New York City subway. We are probably still in Brooklyn, on the way to the Coney Island terminus. Like many of the public transportation time-compressing composites, the train began moving while I was still gathering the image (which, sloppily as I do it, only takes about ten or fifteen seconds on a bright day). You can tell by the pedestrians on the platform to the right of the photo, versus the gradual blurring of the outside at the splice point in the window, that I took this image in the opposite direction than most: right to left. This is probably because I wanted to get the open door and time was running out.

Ok, I have to first say I’m really not pleased with the way this turned out. I had the idea and wanted to composite some eyes to show this idea, but I just wasn’t coming up with anything in Photoshop that was making it look like I was envisioning. I’m tired, the day is done and I gave up. I admit it. Oh well, I’ll try something better another time.
