It took me a while to find this area of town, but it beats anything I've ever found in Canada. You name it, they have it: bus bars, fuses, cases, tools surface-mount-technology componenets on spools, SMT placement machines, LEDs, cameras, transistors, op amps, voltage regulators, BF electrolytic capacitors, ferrite chokes, wire, fibre optics, fibre optic lazers, stereo microscopes for examining tiny circuits...

I lost count of how many different ways I tried to build a system using components for a wall. Paper only, no adhesive. Great fun.

i was wanting new desktop backgrounds for my computer, so i decided to take pictures of the inside of it. this is for my left monitor.
i think i'll clean out the dust and try again later.
These components are all punched out of silver sheet, hammered with different hammers to build up the right texture, annealed, drilled and domed before having the edges softened. And that's before actually using them to make pieces of finished jewellery!
