On the grounds of the Plumpjack Winery in Napa Valley, California is a nice apartment complex for a community of small birds. If I were a bird, I think I would prefer one of the upper units . . .

The complex is one of the landmark buildings along the Boulevard. To the west will be the Grand Mosque and to the east across the Boulevard, the Palace of Justice.
Designed as a complex of interconnected spaces that will reflect a distinct presence in Precinct 3, the building is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Islamic architecture. The main feature is the Gateway or Gerbang with a public viewing deck on the top most level that allows for a breathtaking view of the city skyline that includes the Palace of Justice and the Grand Mosque. The gateway will also provide a vantage point during parades.
The main building comprises four simple volumes integrated within courtyards while along the Boulevard, the arcade will open up to incorporate a landscaped Qiblat Walk. In the Gallery flanking the Qiblat Walk, meeting rooms are suspended to give an impressive façade. A continuous suspended garden will crown the top of the gallery to provide natural views from the Dataran through to the waterfront to the west of the building.
The conference facilities and Auditorium are designed as a complex of low-rise medium sized buildings connected by pedestrian links with boutique retail spaces on the ground floor of each component. The façade on the Boulevard is a network of arcades with elegant intricate mesh screens of geometrical patterns providing protection from the sun.

Not sure what temple in the complex, I took all my "ID" photos of the temple with my iPhone (which of course Geo locates thanks to its built in GPS) but I didn't realise my iPhone and 2 cameras had their time out of sync by some 15 or so minutes.
So these three shots are most likely Zuihō-in, but they could be Kono-in

The Mosque Külliye consists of the mosque, the (türbe) of Prince Mehmet (which was completed prior to the mosque), two Qur'an schools (medrese), a public kitchen (imaret) which served food to the poor, and a caravansarai. The mosque and its courtyard are surrounded by a wall that separates them from the rest of the complex.

The Qalawun complex (Arabic: مجمع قلاون) is a massive complex in Cairo, Egypt that includes a madrasa, a hospital and a mausoleum. It was built by the Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad Ibn Qalawun in the 1280s; some thirty surviving mosques were built during his time.
The Qalawun Complex was built over the ruins of the Fatimid Palace of Cairo, with several halls in the Palace. It was sold to several people until it was finally bought by the Sultan Qalawun in 1283 AD. The structure resides in the heart of Cairo, in the Bayn al-Qasrayn, and has been a center for important religious ceremonies and rituals of the Islamic faith for years, stretching from the Mamluk dynasty through the Ottoman Empire.

Alumni Hall is the first new residence hall of the Pleasantville Master Site Plan, and is a four-story, 477-bed residence hall at the center of campus, with a newly landscaped quad to include green space and walking paths. It houses First Year Interest Group (FIG) themed lounges, faculty in residence apartment, dining, and classrooms, and will transform the living-learning experience at Pace.
The Environmental Center Complex is home to the newly established Dyson College Institute for Sustainability and the Environment (DCISE), which comprises the Environmental Studies and Science Department, the Dyson College Nature Center, the Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies, and the Environmental Consortium of Colleges and Universities. Among the Environmental Center complex’s many features include a classroom building, rebuilt farmhouse, hawk cages, barns, and open outdoor classroom and event space.
The main touristic reason to visit Torcello is the church complex, which includes the church with the cool and/or creepy mosaics, a museum, and a ruined baptistery with a stone seat. It was pretty cool and very restful - there were people coming and going but it wasn't at all overcrowded.

Visitors at the 15th century Amir Chakhmaq Complex in the Old City of Yazd, the capital of Yazd Province, Iran. The three-storey Hussainiya is the largest in Iran. There are 161 steps to reach the main temples, and the last part is reached barefoot on white marble steps. The air temperature was 38°C, and i can only guess that the steps held a temperature of over 50°C. Talk about hot-footing it around these temples.
It was crazy hot in this place... that's why 1) my hair looks so bad; 2) I look like Cat's mom as opposed to sister; and I clutch an icy dewar's and ginger beer.

This is the Philae Temple Complex, located on Agilkia Island, though it was originally located on Philae Island at Aswan in Upper Egypt. Constructed between 380 and 362 BC under Nectanebo I of the Ptolemaic Dynasty, the primary temple structure of the complex was built to honor Isis, the mother goddess and most important female deity in the Ancient Egyptian religion. The temple also gained quite a few smaller temples dedicated to various deities, including Hathor, and it is believed that the site was the last active Ancient Egyptian religious site after all pagan religious practices were banned by the Roman Empire in the 4th Century AD, in favor of Christianity, with the last known Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic carving being found at the site, dating to the late 4th Century. In 537 AD, religious ceremonies were halted at the site by the local commander, and the structure then became the Church of St. Stephen, with many of the carved reliefs being vandalized and the stone columns and walls having carvings of crosses and other religious symbols being added, while the temple structure itself remained largely intact for over a millennia. The temple complex includes the Vestibule of Hadrian, a tall Roman-era structure, and several Ptolemaic-era column capitals that were never completed, and remain in an unfinished state. The temple attracted a lot of attention in the 19th Century due to its picturesque location, immaculate state of preservation, and lack of sediments or debris obscuring the structure. The darkest period in the structure’s history began in 1902, when the British government, which controlled Egypt at the time, constructed the Aswan Low Dam on the Nile River, with the water level behind the dam rising up over the base of the temple, damaging the structure. The dam was raised twice, further covering more of the structure and leading to yet more damage. When the Aswan High Dam was under construction in the 1960s, UNESCO stepped in and moved the temple to higher ground, rescuing it from its watery grave.
