Just finished Mario Kart Wii on 50cc.

Everyone is reading at their own pace.

Well, almost completed. Completed enough to wear to work!

Finished this months ago. Then I started using it. Then it got dirty. I washed it. And started using it again. It got dirty again. I kept using it. And then I finally washed it and now it was clean enough for pictures. Learned some stuff. Need to serge pockets so they don't develop holes from fraying. Um, need more pockets. It's always worth the time! Oh, and too much embroidery makes it look overly busy.

Also, there is a cell phone pocket (for a total of 3 pockets) under the flap that I didn't take a picture of.

Saturday, May 5th, Jane's Walk in Elmhurst, a bustling neighborhood with historic architecture, where busy Queens Boulevard is being re-imagined into a “complete street” for all users. Next door, Jackson Heights, a 1920's planned community and home to “Little India,” is undergoing a transformation as streets are converted to plazas for needed public space, and traffic calming improvements make this family-centric neighborhood safer for kids and adults alike to walk and play.

Jane's Walk NYC is organized yearly by the Municipal Art Society of New York.

Blowing in the breeze...I love this and can't wait to quilt it up! :)

Planted 3 white-blossomed, spreading Tai-haku on the raised bed. This will become the hanami lawn (cherry blossom-viewing).

To the left of the path, planted 1 Yedoensis, an early-flowering, upright cherry with white blossoms and edible fruit.

Along footpath to Lillie Road: 3 pink-blossomed, umbrella-shaped Beni-yutaka.

Slabs laid, little walls built and step in place. Many thanks to Gav, Mike and Uncle John (who did most of the work. Lets look forward to lots of sunny days!

My husband made me a neat tool to put swirls in the impasto so the wool would look woolly.
