This is my favourite from the recent styled shoot at Te Ana Falls, with the lovely, and very tolerant, Stella.

Building work is complete at the new hospital. Rich congratulates Cameron on a job well done while a couple of the builders enjoy one last look at the view from the helipad

The finished article, more colour and detail added a small amount of shading here and there. I love this view from the 199 steps to the Abbey, it has been photographed and painted so many times, because it is simply a wonderful place to be!

Here is my complete collection of all 17'' Limited Edition dolls produced by Disney for characters from Disney Princess movies, plus Alice in Wonderland, as of November 11, 2015. There are a total of 42 these dolls released dolls so far, including the Harrods versions of Anna, Elsa and Aurora. That is nine more dolls in this collection since the last group photo I did in June of this year. They are ordered roughly by release date, but also related dolls are placed next to each other. So for instance all the Cinderella dolls are together, as are all the Frozen dolls. Also included are the live action Cinderella dolls, which look like they totally belong in this collection. They totally outshine the 2012 animated Cinderella doll, and in a way make up for her deficiencies. Also included is the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Aurora Doll. Coronation Elsa has the orb and scepter props that came with the D23 Expo exclusive Elsa and Hans Doll Set. All the other dolls are as they came in the original box.

The bus looks fantastic carrying its big LRT lothians, this is as I remember them and I am so happy with the way the bus has came out. Myself and Graham along with my father Brian have spent 15 years worth of Sundays grafting to get the bus restored. God only knows how many hours we have spent on the bus, but the £ spent would make a grown man cry... but seeing the bus today complete and driving makes every penny spent worth it. Going forward I have a range of smaller jobs to do on the bus and we will work into 2021 getting it ready for presentation to an MOT station then we can see about have a bit of fun driving her about Edinburgh again.

A Furphy water cart on my brother's farm in south western NSW.

These carts are quite well known in rural Australia and were designed and manufactured by blacksmith John Furphy in Shepparton, Victoria in the late 19th century until 1983. They were used on many farms early in that period and also used by Australian troops in World War I.

This one was used by my family for bush and grass fires and now sits in "retirement" on the farm.

There is an Australian slang expression "furphy" which means an erroneous or improbable story and is rumoured to have derived from people gathering and talking around the water cart back in the day but this story too may well be a furphy!

More on its meaning and supposed origin here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furphy

A monument to the soldiers of the Polish Home Army who died resisting Soviet occupation and later domination between 1945-54 in Augustów, Poland. The monument was completed in 2013.

The memorial is dedicated to the “Cursed Soldiers of the Fallen in the Borderlands”, almost entirely forgotten outside Poland. More than 650 soldiers, many of them known only by noms de guerre, presumably to protect their families from reprisals, are commemorated on the monument.

The inscription reads: “They survived until the end on the lost posts, they gave their lives for Poland, the faith of their ancestors and human freedom. They well deserved their homeland.”

Dominating the monument is the eagle that is the national symbol of Poland.

I have so far been unable to find any information about the sculptor.

Noa's cottage has (temporarily) been moved to the other side of the patio. We got new neighbours, and the old ugly wall between our patio and their backyard has been demolished. Until there is a new wall, Noa will have to camp in her cottage and a makeshift pen against the opposite wall. She won't be able to play on the patio for a while, because there's a 6m long open passage to the neighbours' backyard and driveway - and thus the public road - when there's no wall.

very happy with bike so far. Seems light and responsive. Berthoud Aspin felt great on 1st ride

Recently I updated from Nexus 6P that I bought 5 years ago to iPhone 12 Pro Max. A good thing, as the phone died as I tried to reset it to the original condition. Deep from the recess of the phone, images that I took emerged on my new phone. I will try to process them. I am not sure if all photos are mine. I assume that all photos taken by Nexus 6P are mine, as i do not know anybody who has or had this phone. Mostly, I do not know where I TOOK THE PHOTOS, EVEN THOUGH I DO HAVE A DATE, LONGITUDE AND LATIUTUDE.

This is a collage of 2 images, and one appears twice ;-)

The amazing Millau bridge on a very cold, very windy day.

Completed in 2004 across the gorge valley of the Tarn.

As of September 2020, it is the tallest bridge in the world, having a structural height of 336.4 metres (1,104 ft). The P2 pier of the Viaduct is the tallest structure in France, taller even than the Eiffel tower.

I was about to take this shot when the person with the red coat came along and stood in exactly the right place!

It took 110 hours to build.

This one took a while! I'm not sure I want to do any more large-scale Stackrylics again.

It measure 22", and is made from layers laser-cut from 1/8" acrylic sheet.

It took about 6 hour to glue - 6 fume-filled hallucination-inducing hours.

Say hello to Amelia. I imagine that she's totally jaunty and likes to dance into the wee hours of the morning.

I'm not so great with the stem stitch yet, so I gotta keep trying!
