The seller dropped by my workplace and exchanged the damaged minifig. So happy to have a nice minifig now. It's sad that the item was damaged by DHL. Usually DHL is the best courier for Shopee (in my opinion) but this time it is quite disappointing.

Here is a quick comparison with the RF 800mm and the RF 600mm + 1.4x. I did very minor pp and a small crop. Basically close to SOOC. I am finding the 800mm has better detail and better contrast. These are handheld. I will post the individual pictures also.
A professional Ion blaster, compared to the tablescrap mod I made. The added details to the stock SMLE parts really make the prototype one sing. Mine was literally a though I had when I noticed a few extra scoped in the mod parts bin.

I don't have any of the newer official Snowspeeder sets but the size never really changed with those anyway.. So here is a size comparison of my MOC and one of the official sets. I think the difference is quite significant.
Altdoll May head on Dollpamm body.
This is actually a very good combo. I am surprised it looks so good! The only problem would be skin tone matching. Altdoll NS is identical to Fairyland NS, but Dollpamm NS is very very pale. My body is blushed.

A striking comparison. Both vehicles are seven wides and although the M1 Bullpup ACV is bulky looking by itself, it is only a couple of plates higher than the M1151 HMMWV. May I remind you credits for the overall design of the M1 Bullpup ACV go to Andrew Somers and credits for the overall design of the M1151 HMMWV go to Evan Melick. If you notice I made a little switcheroo with the vehicles wheels.

Comparisons on many fronts. First, the similarities - both are Mirror Image kits, both are Volvo products and share the same livery. There the similarities end as the PS has been entirely brush painted using a mixture of Cherry and Humbrol colours, whereas the Limpalong has used coach enamel. Keen eyes will note that the stripes on the Olympian are now separated by white - not my work, I hasten to add!
PS - The PS is not mine... it was put alongside for comparison of the colours.

at dawn (around 5.30-6.00am) the low tide made it possible for us to get to this spot. however by 7.00-7.30am the rising tides were huge u dont want to mess with it. the risk is doubled with additional risks of slippery rocks and sharp corals on the foreground. so have to work fast and get out of there while u can!

What's so funny is when I lay M-line body and SD16 body down next to each other, the SD16 body looks slightly taller (about 1/2cm) than M-line body.
But they are at exact same height when standing.
Can't figure out why but it's no big deal.
Yeah, more tweaks tomorrow. Orphie is blushed like crazy though it makes him really photogenic because his face never washes out that way. :O Then he makes all the other dolls look washed out. *facepalms*
They forgot to sculpt Baby Williams with a groove in his lower lip. Blasphemy! That's the sexiest thing about a Williams. >:O So I helped myself to the knife a bit.
