Distant shot with Black Storm-petrel on left (longer pointed wings, longer tail, very dark) and Ashy Storm-petrel on right, shorter rounder wings, smaller over all and a deep gray color. A mixed foraging flock gave way to flocks of just Black with one Townsend’s and one Fork-tailed in the boil of birds. A Least was seen also, but not by me.

I finally got these pics taken and photoshopped them a bit. Sorry for the bad lighting and weird poses, Deven didn't really appreciate switching bodies. :'D
So this is a small comparison of how the DollClans Kien head looks on three different bodies. From the right: Granado 64cm, normal yellow; Crobidoll R-line (66cm), normal skin; Distant Memory (65cm), normal skin. Unfortunately this doesn't show the height differences, but if someone wishes to see that, I can take more pics. :3
The Granado body is somewhat darker than the head, but goes nicely with the head otherwise and a bit of extra blush hides the colour difference. The Crobi is sort of ok and the Distant Memory doesn't match at all, plus the neck looks far too long. :P
Basically I think any of these bodies could probably be modified to look good with the head, but the Granado body is pretty much the only one that matches both colour wise and proportionally.
Oh, and I had also thought of trying the head on a Crobidoll B-line body, but the neck is too thick. :< Could probably be modded to fit, but I think the head would look too tiny in that body.
Skin comparison b/w EID Bichun and Volks SD16 Daria
Skin tone: EID (Lt. brown skin) vs Volks (pure skin)
Iplehouse Lt. Brown is a yummy tan. I think this shade goes well with my SD16. They look awesome together both in photo and in real person. I think I came to a solution that Uncle Rudy ver.2 must be an EID Lt. Brown skin. XDD
Special thank to K.Boy from Monae Doll for his super smex Bichun. ^__^

For some weird reason tiny delf is photographing green. IRL her skin tone is almost the same as Ophelia's. PF sugar and TD 20 have very similar bodies.
I apologize for the bad photo, I just wanted to take a quick comparison photo of these gals.

Pukifee, iMda petite, Littlefee.
I never thought I'd see a resin so pink it made Fairyland resin seem yellow :P Modigli is a little pinkie pie <3
Modigli can wear pukifee dresses as tops, though I think they usually are a bit short for her.
There are two species of spadefooted toad in SE Utah and they can be difficult to tell apart if you don't know what to look for. Here the New Mexico spadefoot (Spea Multiplicata) is on the left and the Plains spadefoot (Spea bombifrons) is on the right. You wlil notice a more pug-like nose on the Plains spadefooted toad and a pronounced bump between the eyes. Neither of those characteristics exist in the new Mexico spadefoot. Things can get tricky if these two toads hybridize however and this particular New Mexico spadefoot looks like it has some plains spadefoot influence to me.

The ankle joints in my female mnf have an odd shape. She can stand find, but when she isn't putting weight on the bottoms of the feet, she wants to point her toes.

My friend came over for a sleepover so I decided to do resin comparisons.
The Leeke, Bobobie, Luts '08 and the CP hand belong to my friend.
The Luts '10, Crobidoll and the B&G belong to me.
It's a bit hard to see, but Leeke is too pale for any of the other NS. Luts '10 could possibly work with crobi, but is too pale for B&G. The Luts '08, which is yellowed works perfectly with B&G and could possibly work for crobi. The CP WS is alittle yellow for the Bobobie WS, but close.
Notice the new wings. The new ailerons, rudder and elevator are now all movable without limitation unlike the old ones.

Well the weather is awful today so I amused myself doing a flash diffusion material comparison. All taken 1:1 with ETTL flash F11 ISO200 1/200th camera in Manual mode, coke-can flash diffuser. I also did a sequence using manual flash settings to estimate the light loss (ie firing at 1/64,1/32,1/16,1/8th) and looking for exposure equivalence in the RAW converter (DPP).
One obvious conclusion is that the "better" diffusion materials lose most light but none apart from the printer paper were prohibitive.
