Britains 1315 Hippopotamus, adult open mouth introduced 1978 and deleted 1998 sculptured by Ron Cameron - PVC plastic
Timpo 6002 Hippopotamus introduced post 1955 and deleted early 1970's? sculptured by Norman Tooth - polythene plastic

Britains 1345 Tiger, walking 2nd version introduced 1972 and deleted 1998 sculptured by Ron Cameron - PVC plastic
Timpo 6006 Black panther introduced post 1955 and deleted early 1970's? - polythene plastic. Derived from hollow-cast model issued in 1950 and deleted in 1955. The hollow-cast version was issued as both a tiger (with stripes) MZ4008 and as a lioness MZ4007. Sculptured possibly by Roy Selwyn-Smith who went onto to work for Herald and then Britains.

Britains 1313 Baby elephant introduced 1964 and deleted 1998 sculptured by George Ford - available in both polythene & PVC plastic
Timpo 6001 Baby elephant introduced post 1955 and deleted early 1970's? - polythene plastic Derived from hollow-cast model MZ4001 issued in 1950 and deleted in 1955. Sculptured possibly by Roy Selwyn-Smith who went onto to work for Herald and then Britains.

Britains 1354 Bison introduced 1961 and deleted 1980 sculptured by Unknown - available in both polythene & PVC plastic Derived from hollow-cast version first issued in 1931.
Timpo 6007 Bison introduced post 1955 and deleted early 1970's? sculptured by Norman Tooth - polythene plastic
Hopefully, this will be beneficial when deciding if a Timpo figure would be suitable scale wise if mixing with Britains figures.

Two of my RS boys. Caesium is on the body that normally comes with the Gang. He is the shorter of the two. Andreus is on the original 70cm body that came with the long and... feng I think. I was asked to do a side by side of these bodies for a friend :) I have to admit, I rather like how they feel together. Andreus has so much energy and Cas is always more... withdrawn. I did this picture using light painting which eliminated the need for me to have a cool set or... well to even clean the room up much. I think the exposure of the two pictures I used was each about 15 seconds each. One image was dominantly blue washed while the other was very warm. I like the mix.
Still doing some macro trials. I can't get rid of the system shake and focusing is hard!
Both images were taken almost without moving anything except of the lights (LED). The view of the leaf changes drastically!
Taken with Canon EF 100mm macro + two 2x teleconverters + 68mm extension tubes. No lens reversing.

I'm always looking to improve or evolve my B&W image processing, so since I just upgraded to NIK Collection 8 I tried Silver Efex 8 on this image. I went a little heavy on the film emulation, but I have to admit, I quite like the more analog look of the image with 'film' grain added. I may have to reconsider my workflow.

Out of all the things I've built out of Lego, I can confidently say that replicas are the most fun for me to build. I don't know what it is; there's something about recreating things out of these plastic bricks that excites me.
This comparison should answer some of the questions I have received about the differences between the TBLeague/Phicen body and other Fashion Dolls!

Torso test. Both Withdolls have had their stoppers removed.
Basically everyone moves well, except for the MNF that's useless. And everyone but the narae and minisup end up stupid and broken looking due to the chest joint (I still don't understand how it's supposed to be aesthetically pleasing). Well, mnf doesn't but that's just because it doesn't move as much.

Comparison between Obitsus SBH bust M white, 25-27cm
O comprimento do tronco é praticamente o mesmo, mas o obitsu de 27cm tem mais curvas na cintura, seios maiores e pescoço e ombros mais largos do que o de 25cm.

I tried to show a side by side comparison the same type of Barbie head on 2 different bodies. On the left is the hybrid, right is original. The one on the left is slightly taller, as newer Barbie dolls from the early 2000s on have a taller body than the vintage ones. Also, the outfit on the hybrid is loose and makes her look taller. I'll try again later with a better fitting ensemble.

Here is a comparison of the True Type Advanced Muscular Body and the True Type Basic Regular body. As you can see the Advanced Muscular Body is considerably taller the the Regular Body and has a more massive build.
Both bodies have very good articulation but the Advanced Muscular Body has a more aesthetic look because of the rubber casing over the chest and neck.
The legs on the Regular Body are equipped with additional musculature that fit over the thighs. These are removable.
I just tried three 'normal' lenses on my Sony A6000 via an adapter, a late 1940s Zeiss Tessar 50mm f2.8, a Soviet-era Helios 44-2 58mm f2, and a 1970s Nikkor AI 50mm f1.4.

This is a comparison between a Nendoroid, a Nendoroid Doll and a Piccodo doll.
This is my first time seeing a Piccodo Doll in person. I know that some people use these bodies for Nendo heads. I didn't try swapping the heads.
A comparison shot of two ladies bicycles , one in Brisbane and the other in London . Why bicycles , no particular reason , just because they were there and caught my eye . Its pure coincidence that they are women's bikes , they are both facing in the same direction , both have carrying baskets attached , ( a main feature that caused this comparison in the first place ) , and both are leaning against a metal railing . Interesting again , the above is in front of a vehicular ramp leading below ground level and the English bike is in front of stairs that lead to a traditional below ground level basement area , again pure coincidence but a fact worth noting . Their presentation and colouring I find interesting , thats not to say they don't have red bicycles in London and grey ones in Brisbane … Even the weather under which these shots were taken says something , the above in strong sunshine and the English shot in more subdued light , indicative of that locations weather , again pure coincidence on the day ..
